Apr 01, 2026Excellent Hotel for a Couple's weekend Vacay
Wow. We had a grand time here. It is nice to see that they completely renovated this hotel over the past ten years with work being done recently in 2022. Everything in our rooms and in the hotel worked as if brand new. We were delighted to see a 45 year old modern building kept up to solid standards. So many others just fall apart. This hotel was nicely located within walking distance to theaters and shopping. Hotel staff treated us very well, and as seniors they even did a wellness check in to make sure all was going smoothly. We found the location to be a good one. The atmosphere was modern and airy. The rooms were very modern as well and looked fabulous. We got a great value visiting in March 2026 during the spring break weeks. Service at the bell station and the valet went well too. As a tip to get into the valet area come down Stetson for an easier go of it than using Wacker. This is a good hotel.

All staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for there guests! Room was amazing and with an even better view!

Great stay at Hyatt Chicago
Great location overlooking Chicago river. Cozy rooms and welcoming staff. Places you right in the center of all the great stops to cover. Staying here made the visit so much more special.

Chicago is beautiful. But...it was massively overcrowded with tourists on the Riverwalk but several places were closed. Smashburger at the bridge had one worker and a 40 minute line. The street behind the local capitol theater smelled like p. It seems gratuity is baked in everywhere for cashiers, so it could be run better.
