A pleasant and welcoming stay, the room and food were excellent and the atmosphere and open feel, compliment the facilities.

Weekend break
The hotel is excellent location perfect staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious with good facilities. The only things I would say is the pool was freezing the sauna and steam room spot on and I thought the bar was a bit overpriced £22.40 for a pint of peroni and a glass of prosseco other than that great hotel would certainly recommend

Very lovely hotel, great staff, breakfast great. Clean, spacious, lovely spa. Only complaint is that we were told we could access the ICC via the walkway from the hotel and we got stuck inside the walkway between the ICC and the hotel. It was not ideal and quite stressful.

Highly recommend
Warm welcome from staff. Great service. Much more included than we realised. Access to spa and gym during stay. Food was incredible. We had dinner, breakfast and lunch here because it was so nice. Trees and lighting lovely in the dining area. Right next to symphony Hall for shows. Perfect stay.

Feb 18, 2026Uncomfortably Cold Rooms
I’m currently staying at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham and unfortunately the room temperature has really affected my stay. Despite the outside temperature being around 3°C, the room feels uncomfortably cold. The thermostat shows a maximum of 22°C, but it does not feel anywhere near that. I’ve raised this issue multiple times and was told the heating is already at its maximum, there’s nothing that can be done, and that changing rooms wouldn’t help as they’re all the same. I’m having to wear a sweater just to sit in the room, and it’s honestly too cold to comfortably shower. This is very disappointing for such a reputable hotel, and not what I’d expect from a brand like Hyatt.
