Mar 25, 2026Perfect Location in Pasadena
Location was perfect for our purpose (seeing a show at Pasadena Auditorium). Lots of restaurants around the area and a mall. We felt safe walking around even in the evening. All staff arw nice and attentive, especially the person working at the restaurant/bar. No valet parking but the garage parking is convenient. Will go back again if in the area.

great downtown location
Downtown Location is convenient . Walking distance to many stores, movie theatre & restaurants. Love the overall vibe- modern and muted color tones. a very-up-scale feel.

Pleasant stay in Pasadena
The Hyatt Pasadena had a great location. The hotel was clean and modern with tasteful decor. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was bountiful.

Clean, comfortable bed, great location!
We stayed two nights. The location is great in Pasadena. We like the layout of the rooms including the sitting area. The breakfast is very good and consistent. The lobby area is very inviting and nicely decorated. Our room was clean, spotless. Friendly desk staff. The bed was very comfortable. We could hear movement on the floor above us and next door to us someone had a dog, but did not affect our pleasant stay.

Rating: 1 Star Do not stay here if you’re traveling with kids or if you expect to receive the room you reserved. I booked a King room with sofa bed and confirmed it ahead of time. When I arrived at 11 PM with my wife and kids (6 and 9), they gave me a King room with no sofa bed. I went back downstairs and was told they gave my reserved room away because they were fully booked. They offered a Two Queen room so the kids would have somewhere to sleep, but that’s a downgrade from what I reserved. Smaller beds, smaller room, and not what I paid for. To be fair, Thomas at the front desk was very nice and tried to help. He even offered free snacks and drinks, which we declined because the kids were exhausted and just wanted to sleep. He handled it professionally. However: • They called earlier in the evening asking if I was going to show up — in a tone that was not pleasant. • Breakfast the next morning was bad. Hot food was cold and the orange juice tasted off. • Even though we had late checkout, housekeeping was knocking around 11 AM to see if the room was empty. If you’re a Hyatt Globalist, don’t expect your benefits to be respected here. If you’re traveling with kids, double-check your room type — even a confirmed reservation apparently doesn’t mean much at this property. Very disappointing stay.
