Dec 10, 2025Great value and location for a Denver hotel
The value at the hotel exceeded our expectations. The breakfast buffet was much better than most other places where it is offered. The staff was great and rooms very nice. I wish the wifi was faster since streaming on the TV was not good. But it worked fine for email on the phone.

The front desk associate was rude and chose to not explain why I reservations was changed. The manager did step in to help and resolved the issue- but I was not even offered an apology for the rude front desk woman. I do like the hotel and it was clean and food was good. Not impressed with the customer care. Could have just been a bad day

This is the worst Hyatt hotel that I've stayed at. The bed was so soft you sank into the mattress. The pillows were terrible. Ordered a pizza from the hotel and it was burnt. The complimentary breakfast was cold. I mentioned this to staff upon checkout and no discount was provided, not even a sorry for your experience. They don't even let you park your car in the parking garage.

Convenient location. Great housekeeping.
The location of the hotel worked for us as we were touring multiple colleges in the area. The hotel is big and we had a nice view of the mountains. The room said it was “recently updated.” Not sure what they meant by recent as we could see wear and tear. This was also the smallest room in a Hyatt Place that we have ever stayed in. The room was very clean and housekeeping, Sonia was fantastic.

This hotel is a great value all the way around!
We returned to HP/Cherry Creek after our first stay two years ago. It did not disappoint. The hotel is very well maintained; the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast food and dining area is the best that we have experienced in the Hyatt Place locations we have stayed in. It is a quick drive to the highlights in the greater Denver area.
