  Great hotel!

  This was so convenient being right next to the airport. Rooms were large and clean and the hotel was modern and had an amazing breakfast included. Staff were very friendly. The pool area was nice, I just wish there was a hot tub. I think parking was $12 but we didn't need it.

  Doesn't live up to the Hyatt name

  We spent our last night in Aruba at the Hyatt Place at the Airport. It's directly adjacent to the terminal and an easy walk even with suitcases. However, the first room that we were shown into was exceedingly musty- to the point that we went back to the desk and asked for another. The second room still had a faint mustiness but was acceptable. The restaurant there is pitiful. Don't be expecting a nice dinner- a burger is more like it. There are several restaurants in the airport before security and we should've eaten dinner there. But the included breakfast was nice, but no yogurt. No store on site, but the main desk gave us toothbrush and paste and a few other things. There was a LOT of highway noise. And I was surprised that the bedroom doesn't have any USB outlets. There is a nice pool and lounge chairs.

  Excellent service and surprisingly quiet for an airport hotel

  I stayed 4 nights at Hyatt Place Aruba Airport and had a great experience—especially as a solo traveler. The hotel was comfortable, convenient, and surprisingly quiet for an airport location. My room was very clean, and I didn’t hear planes at night while sleeping or in the morning, which was a big plus. What stood out most was the exceptional service from Xylon, Urani, and Rosaura. They were genuinely friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Aruba. Their recommendations for things to do and places to eat were spot on, and they made me feel welcomed and confident navigating the island on my own. Breakfast was solid, and I especially enjoyed the pastechis—similar to an empanada, but with a slightly sweeter dough (definitely try them!). I also appreciated that the lunch/dinner options were fairly priced and tasted good, which was perfect on days when I had long excursions and didn’t have the energy to head to the Palm Beach area to eat. Another helpful perk: the hotel offers a shuttle to different areas of the island, but you’ll want to book in advance (about 24 hours). It’s a great option if you’re trying to avoid taxis or don’t want to rent a car. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel for solo travelers, short stays, or anyone who wants a convenient base near the airport with excellent service. I would absolutely stay here again.

  Not deserving the brand Hyatt

  This was my second stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, my experience did not improve compared to the first visit. While I am not rating it one star, as there are some positive aspects, overall I remain disappointed. On the positive side, the rooms are very spacious and offer a proper desk, which is convenient for working. However, cleanliness is a serious concern. The hotel’s policy is to clean rooms every other day, but during my four-night stay, my room was clearly not vacuumed at all. There was visible dust on multiple surfaces, and the bed linen appeared worn, with loose threads coming out of it. General maintenance also seems to be below the expected standard. Breakfast was very basic. There was no yogurt available, and the pastries seemed old and were quite hard. On one morning, there were only two guests in the breakfast area, yet we could choose from only two tables because the rest had not been cleared. Even after we finished our 15-minute breakfast, the other tables were still not cleaned. This hotel is booked for us by our client, but if I had the choice myself, I would not return. In my opinion, the overall experience does not reflect the standards one would expect from a Hyatt-branded property.
