Outstanding experience at the Hyatt Paris Madeleine
I am a Hyatt Globalist. I wrote the following letter to the Director of Guest Experiences following our return: Dear Marine, Melanie and I have returned safely home, after a wonderful stay in Paris and Aix-en-Provence, marked in both places by excellent weather! I am writing to thank you personally for the warm reception that you offered us, as well as the excellent, attentive service provided by all of the staff that we encountered at the Hyatt Paris Madeleine. Everyone was uniformly friendly, charming, and helpful. I would like to mention in particular the excellent service provided by Elizabeth at reception, who really made an extra effort to accomodate us, so that we would not have to change rooms once we were settled in, and who also made it possible for us to rest and freshen up immediately upon our early arrival at the hotel. We are especially grateful for this. Elizabeth has an excellent attitude towards resolving guest challenges. I am sure that she will go on to have a great career in hospitality. I would also like to mention the friendly service of Claire, who served us drinks in the restaurant, and who was exceptionally welcoming. She is knowledgeable and engaging, and we were happy to see her each evening. Finally, although we did not learn his name, I also want to recognize the very charming young man who served us in Cafe M for breakfast. He was exceptionally kind and attentive, and after the first day he remembered the very particular boisson chaud (cappucino decaf au lait d'amande) that my wife prefers each morning. He always greeted us warmly and personally, with a beautiful smile. I would also like to add that the breakfast offering was outstanding, and I was especially impressed by the perfection of the omelettes! I hope that you will share our warm feelings towards these particular members of the hotel team. And of course, we are especially grateful to you, Marine, for your warmth, friendliness, and kind attention during our stay at the Hyatt Paris Madeleine. Gotta love Hyatt Paris Madeleine
Stay here for 4 nights. Got a great view of Eiffel Tower and partially arc de triomphe. Breakfast service was outstanding, and they made the best french toast ever! Room is big compare with other Paris hotel that make huge difference.
This hotel exuded the ambiance of a lovely apartment in Paris. The location felt like a quiet neighborhood but yet only a 30 minute stroll to the Champs de Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe. The staff was excellent-from Victor, our outstanding bellman, Anna spoiling us with a decadent breakfast, and the front desk- Natalia, and all her recommendations of restaurants, and Marine spoiling us with amenities. A perfect spot in the City of Lights!
Not worth the price
The hotel is 500 euro+ per room yet the room is very small compared to other 5-star hotels. Also the bathroom hardware is dated. The other part of the hotel is kind of nice. But there is no view of famous tourist attractions like Eiffel tower or Arc de Triomphe in the hotel.
Very walkable to shopping, Opera Garnier and various restaurants. Staff very helpful as was dealing with lost luggage by airline. Bar has nice happy hour and good dinner menu. Tasty breakfast selections and service was good.
