Mar 30, 2026Fantastic hotel with a great location and clean and spacious rooms.
Great location at The Wharf, many restaurants nearby, walking distance to the monuments and National Mall, friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, nice gym, and free daily breakfast buffet. I would totally stay here again if I go back to DC.

A great visit!
I had a wonderful stay at Hyatt House Washington DC / The Wharf during the peak cherry blossom weekend. Traveling with family during such a busy time can be challenging, but this hotel made everything smooth and enjoyable. The location is fantastic—right at The Wharf and perfectly situated for easy access to the cherry blossoms and major attractions. It made getting around incredibly convenient and added so much to our overall experience. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. Charlie and Senessie went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely warm in their interactions, which made a big difference for our family. Overall, I highly recommend Hyatt House Washington DC / The Wharf for anyone visiting during peak seasons or traveling with family. We would definitely stay here again!

Outstanding Hotel
The Hyatt House at the Wharf is an outstanding hotel. It is almost completely remodeled is located in a thriving area of DC. You will be greeted with excellent customer service from start to finish. The front desk staff are especially courteous and out of their way to help guests anyway possible. My check-in experience was exceptional. Senessie greeted me with a smile and provided me with a thorough overview of the property’s amenities. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and decorated nicely. The thermostat is easy to adjust and the television appeared to be fairly new. The neighborhood is very vibrant. Visitors will enjoy the many shops and restaurants in the area, especially those located along the boardwalk, which is great for a stroll late in the afternoon.

Great Hotel Option
Room was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was great, location was perfect for us. There is a free shuttle nearby that brings you to the mall area that was very convenient.

Nice hotel with a good breakfast. But the bars are open until 2-2:30 in the area. If you don’t mind being woken up by screaming young people at 2:30 in the morning, this place is for you. It is also $62 a day to park your car in their lot. Even if you are a hotel guest! 😳
