Dec 28, 2025Above-and-Beyond Hospitality at Hyde House — A Stay Elevated by Exceptional Service
We had a wonderful experience staying at the Hyatt House on The Wharf in Washington, D.C. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I would like to recognize OJ, Faisal, and most especially Senessie for their outstanding service and hospitality. Senessie truly made our satisfaction his top priority. He personally ensured that every need we had was met — whether we reached out once or a hundred times, he was always there, patient, kind, and fully dedicated to assisting us. He even moved us to a better space to make sure we were completely comfortable, and we are truly grateful for his exceptional care and attention. We stayed in a riverfront suite, and it was absolutely beautiful. The room was very clean, spacious, and well-appointed, with everything we needed for a relaxing and pleasant stay. The view was stunning, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was elegant and welcoming. Thank you to the entire Hyatt House team — especially OJ, Faisal, and Senessie — for such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting The Wharf.

Great location, excellent facilities, and kind staffs
This was my first time visiting Washington D.C., and I was so glad to stay in such a great location and a wonderful accommodation as well as kind staffs. Thanks to that, I slept well and had a fantastic vacation. The breakfast provided was also a nice bonus. Above all, having a kitchen where I could cook was a huge advantage. I would definitely like to book this place again if I have the chance.

Thoughtful and caring staff
Location is just perfect. The lobby and the room were clean and classy. The people at the front desk especially Senesse and Faisal were very friendly and awesome! It was my wife’s birthday and they made sure we had a great experience with room upgrades, complimentary drinks and chocolates. Thank you, Senesse and Faisal for making this a memorable experience!

Dec 21, 2025Excellent sleep, average rooms, limited perks, weird location
I stayed here one night. This place is pretty dingy and not somewhere I would gladly stay most of the time and I paid a super premium for the room, and they wouldn't even include things like free water bottles unless I complained. HOWEVER - I slept extremely well here before a big conference the next day and I have to say that is worth every penny. So I may stay here again, but try to book early so you don't pay so much for the room.
