Apr 03, 2026As long as someone else is paying for the stay.
The location is nice as there are multiple destinations within walking distance. I traveled as a group and the check-in process was tedious with the hotel - it would have been easy enough to give the key to a representative from our organization and have them speed up the process but instead we stood in a long line to have one person from Hyatt check us in. The room was a nice layout, it was clean, and the view from 17th floor was good. The housekeeping was not done (even though I did not decline it) for my 4 night stay (i.e. no coffee updates, no towel updates, etc.). The Eco-friendly sustainable AC goes off when the IR sensory says you are not there (i.e. the middle of the night) which makes the room temperature increase which wakes you up and then you get to turn the air temperature back down at 3am to try and go back to sleep. The breakfast food and staff were great. The front desk staff did not have customer service as a priority and had difficulty answering the most basic of questions (i.e. happy hour). I rarely saw anyone else on my floor and there were NO noise issues. I sometimes wondered if I was the only person on my floor. The coffee was generic but hot and dirty so it did what was necessary. The bar was overpriced WHEN it was open. The bartender was nice and quasi-conversational as long as I kept it going.

Mar 29, 2026We had a great experience with the Hyatt House
My daughter and I stayed at the Hyatt house on our trip to New Orleans to see Nate Bargatze comedy show, the Hyatt House was very clean, our room was very clean, the bathroom was very clean. The staff was very polite and knowledgeable with instruction. There is a $47 a night parking charge that we were unaware of so prepare for the additional cost for parking. The venue was a short walk to the venue so we had no trouble walking to and from the show. The hotel has very good security where you have to have your room key to get on the floor to your room. I would stay here again and would recommend anyone staying if you are going to an event at the Smoothie King center. The next morning we went to the hot breakfast that was very clean and provided lots of breakfast options. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

They do not warn about the 92 dollar parking fee for the weekend. And doorknob was drilled through and extra safety lock was broken.

Awesome stay
We had such a nice corner room with tons of windows. Kitchen was fully stocked. The best part of our stay was the staff ( Elie at the front desk was incredible and made My mom’s birthday special, Nam with valet was awesome and brought my phone all the way up to my room when I left it in my car). Oh- and the included breakfast was absolutely perfect.
