Perfect for your Broadway Bound Overnight Stay
The hotel is in a perfect location next to Grand Central. The rooms are clean, beds very comfy. For those elligible to access the concierge, the selection is decent but no hot buffet so dont expect egg beaters. Healthy options like yogurt, nuts, muffins.

Great location for Christmas in the City
Great, location right next to Grand Central Terminal. If visiting for the holiday season, its close to Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center, and Radio City Music Hall. Just down the street from Times Sqaure but you're not in the craziness of Times Square. Avoid purchasing reheated food from The Market and grab drinks and snacks outside of the hotel ($5 for a bottle of pop), it adds up with a family. Our flight got in early and they were kind enough to let us check our bags until our room was ready. For New York, the rooms are a nice size. There was even a small wallk-in closet where we could store luggage. They had a staff member downstairs checking room cards before you entered which was nice to know that just guests were in the building. Overall, pleased with the hotel and location.

Dirty
Cleanliness was not at the same level since our last stay, spoke to the management team who promised a deep clean of our room which didn’t happen. We had left luggage tags in the draws, sweet wrapping and straws just left in the room and a lovely amount of hairs in the bathroom (all over in the sink, floor and bath. Manager said oh we will give you some Hyatt points! As we don’t collect them! 🤯

Poor experiece.
There was no coffee machine or complimentary water provided in the room, which are basic amenities I've come to expect, especially when staying at other 4-star hotels like Hilton. For a hotel of this caliber, it felt like we were simply given a place to sleep with little else to enhance the experience. Considering I paid around $400 for a single night, I found the stay to be underwhelming and not worth the price.

Not the best first impression
Check-in clerk was impolite, direct and rude. Hotel and rooms haven’t been refurbished for a while. I felt that the hotel and staff do not make an effort as its guests regardless are tourists who only come once. Location, on the other hand, was quite good.
