Not on my to do list.
Absolutely terrible, tired, no facilities and very expensive. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The one star I've given is for the location. New York is very expensive location and not good value. Yellow cab drivers use their cell phones for directions and get that wrong.

please do not come to visit this hotel
very bad place to visit, hotel not clean, you can find hair everywhere in the room. the toilet is not cleaned and the towel is smelly. The hotel has high destination fee and worth nothing, unprofessional stuffs talk very loud in the morning in hallway. do not select this hotel.

Not quite the Hyatt Standard
Subpar experience for what it was hyped up to be. I expected Hyatt Grand central to be up to a better standard than what I experienced. The hotel is heavily outdated and needs some major face lifts. The room decor is old and feels like I am stepping into the early 2000's. Cramped small bathroom that wasn't very clean and had broken appliances such as the drain. AC/Heat didn't work too well and we had to open the window in January to cool off at night. Stains on the comforter. Overall not what I had hoped for with Hyatt and I am a huge Hyatt advocate. Probably wouldn't pick there again. I'd recommend the Grayson which is a better Hyatt property.

Family Holidays
The best hotel for family trips in New York (Christmas and New Years), best location inside Grand Central, variety of food and beverages. The rooms are not so big, but they’re very clean and quiet, the hotel needs a retrofit, but this is not a problem, everything works very well.

Fake Hyatt, terrible experience
Without a doubt a quite disappointing experience, it seems totally incredible to me that, anticipating a high occupancy and it being such a special date with New Year's Eve, they do not anticipate a better and more efficient service, the hotel reception is full and only 2 people checking in inn, they made me wait an hour to tell me to return after 3 to stand in one more line, the room did not have anything basic like a bottle of water, a coffee maker, everything was rationed, towels, 1 roll of paper, 1 bar of soap in the entire room, everything rationed, how is it possible that not a single bottle of water is provided, the entire staff is in a bad mood, you ask something and always in a bad manner, what's wrong with them? They are a shame to be called HYATT, horrible stay.
