Experience
Staff was great and friendly. Hotel can use a face lift all around. Some of the amenities seem out of date. Location is great and is about a 2 min walk from all the shopping centers. Even though this hotel was cool I’d probably stay at a different more modern hotel.

Clean room. Good location to everywhere!
We stayed here for 6 nights. Room is clean ,nice bathroom and employees are nice. Thanks Jovey to keep our room organized and clean every single day. 3 mins walk to Main Street ,shopping center and popular restaurants. Less than 10mins walk to beach. Bus stops and tour pick up location are in front of hotel. We took bus to everywhere. I think bus is the best way to travel around the island.Cheap and convenient! I will come back soon! Hawaii !

Would stay again
I love this hotel. Clean, modern hotel in a prime location walking distance to Waikiki. Paid daily parking — typical of all Waikiki hotels. Everything functions as it should, no weird surprises. Free reusable water bottles to fill up at their filtered water stations. Gym and pool are nice, but pool is 10 inches deep—so might not be for you if you want to do laps. Our room was near the elevators so we could hear gears whirring every time it moved—but we are deep sleepers so it wasn’t an issue for us. Would stay again !

Dirt, Noisy and smells bad
The shower glass door was dirty when we arrived, smells really bad in the hotel, I won't consider it a hotel with stars, super noisy the first night, so we just let it go, but 2nd night got worse, 4 am power washing our side of the hotel, right under our window (we are on the 7th floor), so I called the front desk and she said nothing she can do, the power washing outside is from the city, I really wonder if anyone knows, does the Waikiki streets all get power washed by the city in the mid of night, or the staff is lying in my face.

Beautiful Hotel in A Perfect Location
We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our wedding anniversary at the Hyatt Centric! Anastasia at the front desk was so kind and helpful. We asked for a high floor (light sleepers) and a soaking tub, and got both requests with room 1106. The Lobby and the pool area are very beautifully designed. The hotel smells nice and is very clean. The hotel restaurant is still closed, but there were plenty of places to buy prepared food and there is a microwave and hot water dispenser in the Lobby. The hotel is close to both the International Marketplace as well Waikiki beach; The self-parking is quiet expensive ($42/night) and very, very tight; thankfully we had a small car and navigated the corners without a scratch. Resort fee was $33/night which gave us access to beach chairs, umbrella and towels. A big mahalo toTiare and all the staff, including guest services on the first floor for taking good care of us. We hope to come again and stay at the Centric!
