Great location . However, Very dated hotel. Unappealing restaurant onsite with outrageous prices. Had to catch a cab just to get something to eat. Room wasn’t ready til after 6pm. Was told it had to be inspected ? Then gave us a coupon to get a free drink in the unappealing restaurant. Ordered a glass of red wine, and the wine was so cheap and old that it had residue at the bottom of my glass. My first time staying at a Hyatt, I was so disappointed. Will not stay here again.

This was our home-base before our cruise. Located in the Brickell neighborhood, but in a more tranquil area, this modern, clean property is still in walking distance to restaurants, shopping, a walk along the water and more. Our queen/queen room was nicely sized, if not a bit stark in decor, and featured a huge bathroom and shower. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. We had two meals at the on-site restaurant and it was enjoyable. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. The pool deck was also huge and provided beautiful views over the city and water. What I think I will remember most about our stay here was the friendly staff. Everyone we encountered, from the front desk agents to the restaurant hosts/servers to the housekeeping staff and bellmen, were all wonderful. This makes such a difference and really left us with a good impression. Keep up the excellent work. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this Hyatt Centric for future stays. I found it much less hectic than some of the other hotels in the area I've stayed at.

Too expensive
There was an additional $40 charge for “hotel fee” on top of the $187 through Priceline. There is no where to park so you also have to pay for valet parking which is another $41 a night. Not worth the hidden fees.

Comfortable and nice staff
Great hotel. Good service, good facilities, good location. Nice stay. My favourite in Miami, will comeback in future ocasions

Asked for Blank Epayment Authorization and Would Not Specify Charges
My wife and I tried to book, at this hotel, at an offered group rate. The hotel sent an epayment authorization form/ registration form. They did not specify what the card covered (room price, tax, incidentals, etc.) or the total amount required for a one-time charge or a pre-authorization hold. When we asked the hotel for the specifics of the hold/charge, they did not respond. We will not sign a blank approval which is an unusual procedure and puts the guest at risk for excessive changes.
