Great Hotel Great Location
Hotel Theodore was in an amazing location in downtown Seattle, very close to shops and Pike's Place Market. It was extremely cozy and comfortable. The rooms were larger than typical hotel rooms which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Great location for a quick trip!
I grew up in Seattle and know the city well. This was a quick overnight to hang with my nephew and we both agree this was a Great location. Close to train to airport and right off freeway. East walk to cap hill for the best oysters at Taylor fish and a quick walk to piles place market. Nice rooms friendly staff.

Great downtown hotel
This was a work trip. The Theodore has a convenient downtown location, friendly efficient front desk, room was a good size, attractive and well appointed. Bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast coffee and pastries very good. I’ll be back.

Not just a hotel but an amazing urban adventure!
Picked a random hotel to enjoy an evening with my better half just dinner and a Broadway show and maybe a little more. But that's my business. Was a surprise to be blown away the extremely helpful and friendly staff. Not what you would expect from a posh little Seattle hotel. For a building almost a hundred years old you would never have known it. The way the history of the building was celebrated from the bits of art to the some history you find on the wall. It was an excellent change to the normal drab prints and dull colors. This was an adventure in its self quietly exploring the buildings different floors and the lobby The bathrooms though small (it is almost a hundred years old) were easy to navigate and I am 6'3" gorilla. Bed were comfortable and I con not believe I found bathrobes seen them in the movies but never in real life. 10 outta 10 an amazing experience. I will definitely be going back.

Very underwhelming
I had a 6 day meeting in Seattle that ran from 7am to 6pm daily and wanted to find a hotel that I could conveniently charge my electric Volvo at. Hotel Theodore’s website had indicated they have electric car charging. When I arrived, I was told by the valet that they only charge Teslas. So now I had to stay at a hotel that was inconvenient for my meeting, but also had the added inconvenience of searching for a charging station in the evening. I asked for the general manager of the hotel to contact me and the front desk staff assured me he would. Needless to say he did not. The rooms at the hotel are new, but with it being an old building goes a musty smell. I don’t usually care for rooms that don’t have a fan in the bathroom and this was the case here. The windows are poorly insulated and the noise from the street (traffic and people yelling) coming up to the 12th floor made it difficult to fall asleep. Room service was bewildering. There’s a card on the door you can place if you don’t want room service. The first 2 nights I did not place the card on the door but the room still was never cleaned. Since garbage was accumulating, I asked the front desk to make sure my room was made, and it was that day. The next day I thought I didn’t need room service, I placed the card in the door. The following day I wanted room service so I took the card off the door, and again no one came to clean up the room. The one thing I enjoyed about this hotel is the excellent coffee shop. That’s it! I would definitely not recommend this hotel and actually would encourage people to try any number of far better properties to stay at.
