    One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

    The breakfast was amazing! I truly hate that I started the review like this, but I am telling you now… the breakfast made the trip! The room was super clean and quiet, even with 2 rambunctious kids, the room was plenty roomy and comfortable!

    My Second Stay at Riu Plaza Fishermans's Wharf

    We last stayed here Oct 2023. Hotel Riu is conveniently located for a lot of SFO activities and last time we enjoyed the comfort, hospitality and the deluxe buffet breakfast. This time I had my 10 year old grandson with me. His first trip to SFO. We ate our way through Fisherman's Wharf, went to the aquarium and Alcatraz. We took multiple Uber rides to various places over a few days. Although we took BART from the airport, going back we took an Uber. About same price as BART. My grandson loved the International vibe the Riu offers. Like on my first visit, there were lots of tourists from all over the world. Everyone was friendly...both the staff and the guests. Riu Plaza is def my go to hotel when I am in SFO. Highly recommended.

    Comfortable hotel in a great area, but lack of coffee in lobby was off putting.

    This hotel fit a family of four nicely. We thought the beds were comfortable and the area had everything we were looking for. The only downside was the lack of coffee in the lobby. They offer it at breakfast but won't give to go cups and you have to purchase in the lobby. That aspect sort of downgraded the stay in my opinon since even a Courtyard or Holiday Inn Express gives coffee.

    Nice

    This is our usual go to when we want to spend a weekend at pier 39. Love that is close to everything we love to do. Just wish the parking was included in the cost of the room and not a separate charge. First hotel I’ve stayed at that parking wasn’t included.

    Quality Hotel in an excellent location

    Delightful place to stay in the centre of Fisherman's Wharf. The rooms were modern, clean and with all the facilities you could need. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Thank you.
