A great stay, loved the area
Overall, we had a great time at this hotel. Staff were friendly, hotel was clean and the room was great. No major complaints but a few suggestions for improvement: - food labelling was not to the standard of other Rius we have stayed at (which were meticulous with allergy labelling). - atmosphere is a bit boring. Some music playing at the bars or pools during the day would improve the vibe. - dress code needed - far too many men being allowed into the snack bar in nothing but speedos. The area of Los Pocillos is fantastic and we would definitely consider returning.

Beautiful, clean hotel with amazing staff and entertainment team!!
Got back yesterday from 11 days here, and what an amazing time we had. We had 2 rooms in the garden side of the hotel, and they were amazing. The rooms were spacious and clean, kettle in the room with a mini fridge, TV and sofa. The bathroom was beautiful and the shower was incredible. Lovely balcony overlooking (to the side lol) the pool and could see the sea from our room. The balcony had 2 chairs and a table and a space to hang your wet towels/swim stuff. Only downside to the balcony was it didnt have a light, which was a bit unusual, and kinda frustrating when waking up early lol. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, and so clean! There was so much going on there, all different activities for both the children and adults every day. The entertainment on a night, when done by the in-house entertainment team was absolutely fantastic. Theyre all so talented and absolutely hilarious, we laughed so much. They also had singers on near the bar which was lovely and gave a lovely atmosphere, people getting up to dance for a lot of it as well. The staff were so friendly and helpful and always had a smile for the guests. It was nice to see so many of the general staff and entertainment team familiar with a lot of people as there are a lot that seem to frequent the hotel multiple times a year, which gave the place a lovely vibe. The food was stunning, although, as at a lot of all inclusive hotels, very repetitive. However there was definitely always something for everyone. My adult daughter is a picky eater and she always found multiple things to eat. The only downside is, there is only one main restaurant to the whole hotel, theres absolutely tonnes of seating, however I can imagine in the height of peak season, the queues could be pretty bad. It started to get pretty busy a few days before we left and that was bad enough for us, I couldn't imagine what it would be like at full capacity. Drinks are decent at the bar, cocktails included. A list of alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails are on the bars. I will say, if you're going for a mocktail, the machine says 'free' on most of the non alcoholic ones, so definitely keep an eye on that if you're wanting one without. I got eaten alive by mosquitos this holiday, and the staff were so helpful. They sprayed our room and made sure a plug in was put in there (although they did state they would put one in IF one was available, luckily there was, but if you're like me and the mozzies like to have a chow on you, may be worth brining your own!) All in all, the hotel and the staff were fantastic. Close to a lot of things to do and shops, close to bus stops to get around and close to car hire, bike hire, scooter hire, mobility scooter hire etc. Thank you so much for an amazing holiday, we will definitely be back! 🫶

Brilliant hotel
We had an 8 night stay at the Riu Paraiso and were extremely impressed with the hotel. I have left sided impairment following a stroke and the hotel were able to provide a room that suited me perfectly. The food and drink offerings on all inclusive were superb, we never once struggled to find something to eat that was to our taste, the offerings were replenished straight away. Every member of staff that we had interactions with were professional, polite and very helpful. The pool staff provided us with a disabled sticker so that we could reserve sun beds each day. The impression we gained is that the hotel have ample staff in each department, something that other hotels we have been to do not have, this means that there were very short waiting times to be served at bars and when you were served the staff were always happy and smiling. The only fault I could find is that in order to access a disabled toilet from the reception or lobby bar area you have to go downstairs or a long walk to get to a lift. We would definitely return and recommend the hotel

Another fab holiday
Arrived on Sunday 23rd November. This is our 7th time at this hotel. Absolutely love it. Check in was quick and easy. Was allocated room 317. Room was clean and spotless on arrival and stayed that way for the time we were there. Food was excellent especially the lamb !! Plenty of choice even for the fussiest eater. Asian restaurant was also very good. Bar service and entertainment in the bar area very good especially the new duo Ginger and Spice who were brilliant. Didn't go to the entertainment in the theatre as its not our thing. Sun loungers plentiful but doesn't stop early morning selfish sun lounger grabbers taking up all the best spots. Manager, Pablo was always in attendance with a smile on his face and is very approachable if you were to have a problem. All staff in all areas were excellent and working hard to please. Looking forward to returning in February and again next November.

Holiday
Stayed in the Rui again this year. Hotel spotlessly clean. Staff great. When we stayed last December 2024 we thought the evening meal could be improved. Had improved a little but could do with more.
