4th time at the hotel, could not fault anything. Stayed 3 weeks Feb/March. Excellent service from all staff. See you in October.

Mar 20, 2025Great staff. Terrible towels.
Another stay here, sorry to say the horrible thin brown bathroom towels still haven’t been replaced. We stayed half board. Great choices at breakfast, particularly enjoyed the delicious fresh fruit and the pancakes and churros with yummy chocolate sauce. Evening meals were reasonable, the soups were very tasty and good choice of salads. The meat and fish choices varied in quality. Dishes always replenished. The desserts were mainly brightly coloured cakes and jelly (more suited for children than an adult only hotel in my opinion). Our room was fine. No need for air on as weather was so bad. Decent size fridge, kettle provided and daily top ups of tea, coffee. Big safe. Plenty of storage, lots of drawers. Good hanging space in wardrobes (so many hotels now have short hanging space, no good for dresses!) Pillows bit thin but on request we received additional pillows. Everywhere very clean. Lots of sun beds looking out to sea. Pool bar had good and reasonably priced food for lunch. Evening entertainment - some bad, some really bad and some were fabulous such as the ABBA tribute who were good fun, but the highlight for us were the Hit Boys who were really very good and had lots of people up dancing. I would like to praise the excellent staff who work really hard clearing tables in the restaurant and quickly serving drinks in the bar. They’re very friendly and helpful and a definite credit to the hotel.

Good VFM
Hotel rooms would benefit from an upgrade little bland .staff at all areas are excellent. All areas really well cleaned, food was good with a nice selection of dishes , sometimes buffet food can be a little cool but there is a microwave near the bread and toast machines(2) for those that like some dishes hotter. Table service very efficient, hotel busy but no problem finding a table at meal times .entertainment mostly good cheerful bubbly artists .Sunbeds always available in march 2 to 9 but weather poor not much sun but much to do in the town very pleasant 10 minute walk Overall a good hotel well worth a visit. Just an upgrade in rooms would be nice

Super Stay
Our stay here was excellent. The quality of room and public areas were excellent. The hotel is ideally placed for strolling into the town. The food and entertainment offer excellent value for money as does the hotel overall.

Mar 11, 2025AVOID AT ALL COST !
We have just spent a week in this hotel RHU MONICA. We are in our 50s, the average was 75 plus. The older lady on reception is so rude and dismissive. Her name I think was Maria. .The room all be it large was outdated. The food was terrible, mainly cold, and a very poor selection. The same thing churned out every night. We were so dissapointed as this was our anniversary holiday. And this hotel is way over priced for what you get. Oh and at check out you dont even get as much as did you enjoy your holiday. Far to busy talking to each other ! Apalling customer service. Forget the evening entertainment ! Dire. Avoid this place at all cost ! Worst hotel, there are plenty in Nerja, where we have been many times. We went here as a treat after years of caring for elderly parents. This place is just like a nursing home for the elderly !
