    Nerja good place for holiday

    RUI IN A EXCELLANT POSITION FOR TORRICELLI BEACH LOCAL BARS AND CAFES, 5MINS WALK TO BALCON.hotel clean meals good nice outside area overlooking beach,is a quiet area of town, should know lived here for 5 yrs.

    The lovely Hotel Monica Nerja

    Beautiful hotel within easy walking distance to the Balcon, shops, bars, cafes n nightlife All the guests we spoke to and the staff seemed very happy, friendly and helpful The rooms were spacious plenty of storage and extremely clean Only slight niggle was the drawers were a little awkward to open and the TV only had BBC news n Sky news English channels Gorgeous sunrises in the mornings very comfy beds Very good value for money Lots of choices of food in the restaurant both breakfast and dinner although the bacon was smoked and streaky please use more middle unsmoked which was on the menu one morning The hotel is extremely well run no problems with getting the lifts or getting a table in the restaurant it all runs like clockwork due to the very competent management Hotel cleaned every day to the highest standards one of the best I have ever stayed in The entertainment is adequate only a couple of nights in two weeks we weren't happy with it but would prefer it to finish a bit later occasionally ended before 10.30 Higher floor rooms get the better views

    Relaxing and comfortable

    Stayed for one week over the New Year. Hotel is spacious spotlessly clean and staff are warm and welcoming. New Year gala dinner was exceptional, that said the food didn’t disappoint any morning or evening. Bar prices are good and staff very efficient. I asked for a high floor and view and that’s what I got, the only problem was the room was next to the lifts and lift controls and was noisy. Tried to change rooms but hotel full. Bought earplugs in the end. The balcony was huge and lovely views but the extractor chimney from kitchen above us so food smells , on New years Eve this was from very early in the morning and all through the day. My only niggle was the information given about booking tables in the bar and restaurant for New Year could have been clearer. Plenty of nice bars and eating areas outside hotel and the town a few minutes stroll away. Overall a lovely holiday, I would go back but to a different room .

    Picturesque

    Lovely hotel, super shower, lovely views from room. Food not as good as past years in other Riu Hotels, ate out a couple of times in the resort. Good for a relaxing holiday, we went for 2 weeks but a week would've been sufficient. Entertainment mediocre. Would I go back properly not. Overrated hotel chain.

    First Class

    Just returned from our third visit to this first class hotel. You are greeted warmly when you arrive and the perfection continues from there. We stayed in a standard room which was spacious, with plenty of storage, and immaculately clean. Beds are comfortable, we requested extra pillows via the Riu app and they arrived promptly. Every member of staff is friendly and helpful, especially our wonderful cleaner, Pili, who was always so cheerful and did a brilliant job. The food is very good, plenty of choices, always replenished and nice and hot. Entertainment was hit and miss, some excellent acts, Hit Bros, Hector, Elvis and ABBA and a couple not so good but perhaps that's just a matter of taste. Thank you to all the staff that make this hotel such a wonderfully relaxing place to be, we look forward to seeing you all again soon.
