My husband and I always stay here when visiting S.L.P. I've never been disappointed! The staff are amazing, the beds are perfect for me (big beds and hard so that you don't sink in). The showers are perfect - hot and great pressure and the rooms are big with a beautiful view of the city. They also have parking and friendly staff. The location can't be beat- Love this place!

Booked via hotel.com for 51$CAN per night, for 3 nights. Checked in the middle of the day. Check in was friendly. Was provided a room on the 12th floor. Room was a bit dated, very 1980s, with big Smart LCD TV with mainly Spanish language stations as well as Netflix and AmazonPrime access (cought up on my streaming) , good view, good wifi, fridge, clean bathroom. They do have a gym on the top floor, with older equipment. The pool was closed for the cold season. Used the restaurant once, for the breakfast, which was ok, 145 pesos, good selection of Mexican dishes, and north American. Plenty of other restaurants with cheaper deals, if you dont care for buffet.

Comfortable, convenient, a few places shabby
This place is good value: comfortable, on a main street within walking distance of the city center. My room was very clean. There are nice votes over the city from this 12-floor hotel (see photo from the 6th floor). But the breakfast buffet is nowhere near as generous as the Real Plaza in Aguascalientes: four hot dishes, cereal and fruit for the same 145 MXD; you can get much more selection a block away at La Nueva Parroquia for 169 MXD. And the common areas have some shabby things that could be fixed easily: Behind the reception desk is cluttered and junky, a couple of the hot trays on the buffet were covered with crumpled aluminum foil, and there were two wrinkled signs taped to the wall by the elevator (see photo).

Near downtown, nice Hotel
Comfortable rooms, excellent service and delicious food. Nice family atmosphere with typical Mexican breakfasts, but with a variety of international cuisine. It has all the services including a bar with romantic music enlivened by an excellent bohemian trio.

Good service and location
Location is just a few blocks from historical downtown. Staff was very courteous and professional. There is free garage parking available. Facilities are a bit out dated and beds kind of hard. But you get good value for the price.
