Bad experience and bad place
Not all rooms have AIR CONDITIONING, and do not respect reservations The hotel staff start making noise from 5am, they don't care about the guests... non-stop noise from 5am, screaming, moving things, it's horrible The rooms are small and somewhat dirty, better to stay at the hotel next door or the Lorenzo hotel a few blocks away... would never return there:(

Don’t go to this hotel
Don’t do this to yourself!! The staff here is NOT friendly and helpful. We didn’t feel welcome here. You only get 1 towel and 1 soap bar per room, which we think is really weird. When i showered first my boyfriend had a wet towel. Both doors in the room, the bathroom door and the door to outside have a gap on the bottom. When i took a shower it was also raining, so when i came out of the shower, the whole room was wet. My backpack and everything inside is still wet! When we went to the reception and told this, he said he would come and clean it for us. When someone came they gave us a wet and dirty towel to clean it up ourselves. This is not okay! We ended up using our only towel to try and dry everything in the room. The second night we couldn’t shower, because we didn’t had a towel anymore. The wifi in this hotel does not work!! The man in the reception said this was because of the rain. We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, only 1 night it was raining and the wifi didn’t work the whole time! We had to sit in the hallway to have a little bit of connection to try and book a new hotel, but even then the wifi didn’t really work. The worst experience in a hotel!

Junto a la terminal de occidente
Average low acomodation just in front of the OCCIDENTE BUST TERMINAL. Looks like a sex motel but is ok to spend the night at an afordable price if you arrive late on at the terminal or need to get a bus early in the morning. 12$ night/room

Our salvation in San Salvador.
The previous review and the review in our guide book said the same thing. Before you read the one bad spot, please hear us out. Right away we were greeted with very genuine service, and the price was good for long term budget travelers like us. We paid $12 per night. We have been on the road for months and have had spotless places for much less. And we have had worse places for much more. The previous review and our guide book both mention the need to look at several rooms first. We took the first, #26, and should have been put off by damp smell. The mattress smelled like cabbage and felt a bit damp. We toughed it out, but asked for another room after 2 days. Room #31 was perfect. I have to mention it had on of those t.v.'s that hang up on the wall, you know, the flat screen ones. Some people really like that. I guess it is a nice touch. Management was great with the room change and somehow seemed to be aware of the damp room. That is strange, because the 24 hour staff was constantly cleaning the place. It was a spotless establishment. I did notice a new mattress on the landing that day and we hope it was for #26. Our 4 days in San Sal were great, believe it or not, and everything at the hotel had a lot to do with it. There was free coffee all day and night, which is such a simple thing for them to provide. It makes for a great touch. Our stay was quiet, which is very important and often very hard to come by in central america. The showers were cold water, but it is welcoming in the hot weather. There was an attached restaurant which we did not eat at, but seemed busy. Very good location for buses that serve all of the city. They stop in front on 3A calle poniente. There were street food vendors around the corner on 19A avenieda norte. Parking was ample, if you have a vehicle. We would stay again no problem.

Decent accommodation close to bus terminal
The hotel has good location. It is just two blocks from long distance international bus terminal and walking distance to the city centre. The quality of rooms differs widely so ask to see more rooms before checking in. Rooms on the main floor, while a bit noisier, are renovated and better value rather than rooms higher up. However, even the non-renovated rooms are decent for a night or two. All rooms I have seen were clean. Each had private bathroom, twin bed, night stand and TV with cable (some had small flat screen TV). The bathroom in my room was small with shower. There was only cold water available. But as in other Central American countries this is common in budget hotels and hot water is not really needed. My room facing the courtyard was quiet. The linen was inexpensive but clean. The staff was hospitable. Customers were mostly locals. Wi-Fi was available only on the main floor near reception. The building appeared to have good security. There was a nice, small and inexpensive restaurant. It was accessible from the street and located on the property. It was a good accommodation for me for one night and near the bus station.
