Magnificent breakfast buffet with great choice of cakes and pastries, fresh fruit, cold meats and cheese (brie, tartar, camembert, sliced cheese); hot zone serving scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages, bread station with different types of olive oil, cereals; yoghurts, dried fruits and nuts, fruit in syrup, different fruit juices (orange, grapefruit, tropical fruit, apple and pineapple), liquid station (skimmed milk, full fat milk, sparkling water, still water).

Dec 17, 2025Room Tired and Outside Noise Horrendous
We booked this hotel as we are Melia circle members and all our experiences at other Melia hotels have been positive and we expected the same. +ves - The hotel is well located for getting around Paris and in particular because a Metro station is located literally outside the door. The lobby area is small but welcoming and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast if you book it is small but sufficient before a day sightseeing or shopping. -ves - Our room was situated on the front of the hotel with a nice view of the street. It was very clean but looked very, very tired. It looked like work had been done some time ago to modernise it, but it really needs to be done again and better. Unfortunately the noise in the room at night from outside is horrendous. There is an Irish pub next door and many bars around. The noise is relentless until about 4 to 5 am. Easily the worst 2 nights sleep I’ve had in a long time. I understand the hotel can’t do much about this (sound proof glazing?) but if staying there ask if there is a rear facing room. We were lucky to have paid for the hotel with our Melia points, if we had paid money we would definitely have been annoyed. If you are looking for a city break - avoid!

The Paris opera hotel by Malia is in a great location walkable to so many things. The hotel is clean. The staff is exquisite “ Ishara” was fantastic. He shared so much information about Paris. He advised us on many things so friendly, making sure that everything was exactly as we wanted truly a gem of your property. The reason this is not a five star review. The rooms are small elevators are even smaller, limited toiletries a lot of doors. I would’ve liked to had a full-service restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast was very nice lots of choices, but it would be a nice if there was an opportunity to have a cocktail in the evening and maybe a snack versus having to go out.

To my surprise
The location is perfect. Felt very safe. Room are well let.. The staff very attentive. Special shout out to the service Ishara gave. He’s very in tune to the needs of the guest. He’s very good at what he does. The company is very fortunate to have such a gem of a guy!

Excellent location. Metro stations are right in front of the hotel. The hotel itself was very clean. All hotel staff was nice and helpful. Especially Azor. Azor was very kind, friendly and very approachable. He went out of his way to get us the transportation we needed and also gave us good directions/recommendations. Great customer service.

Exceptional Service
Exceptional service, thank you Ishara for all the helpful advice, attentiveness and luggage support. In fact, all the staff made us feel welcomed and were considerate of my elderly mother’s wellbeing. The hotel team made our stay in Paris just that little bit more special.
