Great location and a nice hotel but deeply disappointed that the hotel was under construction both inside and outside on the street. The property did not advise us at time of reservation or leading up to our stay. The hotel has ignored my subsequent communication about the situation.

Overall a beautiful hotel and great service. Hotel was having some renovations and they could do better in managing it to interfere less with the guests experience. Reception team and experience were super nice and professional. Restaurant at breakfast and lunch, both food and service were impeccable. Bar at night has room for improvement.

Superior service and attention to guests needs. Willing staff available to answer questions and help solve issues. A surprise gift from the concierge was warm and gave us an appreciation of giving and receiving. Room was impeccably maintained and cared for

We Lived Like Royalty!
Three words describe our experience at the Hotel Nelligan: "Oh My God". All of our expectations, which were already high, were exceeded. The staff is welcoming, professional, courteous to a fault and extremely helpful. We'd like to single out Christopher and Roman in particular for making our check-in and check-out a joy. Thank you guys! It was our honeymoon so we stayed in the penthouse. Wow! We will never forget it. The room and deck were amazing. The bed was firm and luxurious and the bath was like an oasis. The nightly visits from housekeeping offering chocolate was a very nice touch. The housekeeping staff in general was unseen but their presence was always felt. We always returned to a room that was so much neater than we left it in the morning. Thank you! If you want a hotel in the heart of old Montreal that exudes charm and comfort, you can do no better than the Hotel Nelligan. One note, the elevators are slow but they get you there and when you get there, wow!

Terrific stay at Hotel Nelligan
Great experience at Hotel Nelligan. The room was clean and very nice, with super cozy and crisp bedding, comfy pillows, etc. The bathroom was exceptional with a wonderful shower, heated floor, complimentary bathrobes. The lobby staff and housekeeping were friendly and always helpful. The workout room was well equipped and clean. There was construction near the hotel and so the valet staff came out to meet us quickly at a nearby corner and took care of us very well. We didn't eat at the restaurants this time but they looked very busy & full of happy customers. Unfortunately this point in the cold season the rooftop bar is not open, but I'd love to come back and try it in warmer weather. Recommend.
