We had 4 couples n Freddy n Ricardo were our butlers for the week. They contacted everyone twice a day to check on us, fulfilled every request n our rooms were ready for the night when we got back. We are not a very needy group n they exceeded our needs. Been many times n they upheld the reputation of El Cid butlers! Eric Parker

This place has good Wifi connection, the food was fine and the activity pool was fine. But it has alot of mosquitoes and I got bitten all over my legs. Never coming to this resort again.

Dec 28, 2025The perfect all inclusive
This is our second time coming here and returned this year for our honeymoon. Everything about this place is amazing. The food is great. The drinks come fast. ALL of the staff are amazing. Everyone seems to genuinely enjoy what they do at the resort and it shows the kindness and attitude they put forward. The resort has it all. If you want to sit by the pool all day, you can. If you want to sit on the beach all day you can. Our room was perfect. We had somewhat of an ocean view on the fifth floor of the building. We opted for the platinum package this time around and the experience was well worth it. Hugo, Noah, and Luis were all 3 amazing butler to have! Sociable and fun to be around. Made dinner reservations for us, was able to provide rides throughout the property when needed. Anything we asked for was made to happen. Will absolutely be coming back. No matter which hotel you stay at on property, it will be an amazing time.

Awful.
We came over Christmas and there was “no reservations” at any restaurants but when you looked in there was plenty of empty tables. We ate at a buffet with sub par food nightly. Staff was either rude or always on their phones being inattentive. This wasn’t the first time staying at an all inclusive but it was the worst. Too many rules. Too many bossy workers. Would NEVER recommend this resort to people.

Two special butlers
Our two butlers Manul and Sebastian went over and above for us when we stayed at Ventus Ha El Cid Marino and spa in Port Morales Mexico . This was our second visit to this resort. My husband and I went to celebrate my birthday.. Manuel and Sebastian always made sure that everything was perfect for us. They went all out to decorate my room for my birthday, which made my day even more special..
