Beautiful hotel - ok location
We stayed as a family of 3 for a week during Easter break and had a wonderful vacation. Wish the hotel was in a better location. Hotel: Room: we had a 1 bedroom harbor view suite. The room was stunning and spacious. It was such a beautiful room with tons of drawers for your clothes, large full length mirror in the bedroom and mirror in the suite area. Both rooms were huge and beautifully decorated. Outdoor balcony from both rooms overlooking the harbor. Easily as nice as a 5 star. Service: service was wonderful from the restaurants to housekeeping to the daily text from the concierge checking in daily to see if we needed anything. Everyone was so friendly. Restaurants: we ate at Catalina every morning and had both the buffet and ordered off the à la carte menu. Food was very fresh and well prepared . They have an omelette station, hot food including either pancakes or French toast or waffles every morning. The fruit was fresh. Great pastries. We had the omakase at Milkberry one night and most of the dishes were delicious. We also ordered room service and it was prompt and the food was good. Beach: this is where it started to not feel as 5 star. You have access to the Bonny Moon Beach club. It was an easy 5 minute walk from the hotel and not an issue at all. People were reserving beach loungers at 7AM when they open so you had no chance of being near the ocean unless you were willing to get up at the crack of dawn. We still got loungers every day but I went down around 9 to make sure we got a seat. It’s also right next to Public Beach which was overwhelmingly crowded with people all on top of each other and the worse on Wednesday and Thursday when the cruise ships came. The food was pretty good but the drinks were hit or miss. The only drink I enjoyed was the Frose. The pina colada, mojito and margarita were not that good. The beach itself is crystal clear and gorgeous and there is a reef where you can snorkel off the beach about a 15 minute walk next to the Kimpton Seafire. The location is also not really walkable to much compared to the other resorts that are more central on 7 mile beach, Overall, the hotel itself is stellar and near 5 star in every way. The location and Bonny Moon made it feel a little less luxurious.

Perfect experience so far
There’s a new bar set by Hotel Indigo for all of my future travels. It’s clean, stylish, and well designed for families as well as adults only trips. The food and service has been unmatched and wonderful. The beach club is perfection with more great food and service. The only drawback is that it’s not all inclusive (what we typically do on spring break) and therefore feels expensive for everything from a pop to full meals. That is expected though in Grand Cayman.

Inferior to Seafire
We’ve stayed at Seafire about eight times with this being our first time at Indigo. The entire resort, while nice and newer, feels to be a significant step down from Seafire. The food we purchased was the biggest letdown (expensive and lacked flavor/imagination) compared to Seafire. The walk to the beach and beachside service compared to Seafire was also a big detractor.

Great Experience
Great hotel, great service, great food. We'll be back. The walk to the beach was no big deal. The beach club is better than the one at the Seafire.
