Hotel del Fabulousness!
I was lucky enough to travel to beautiful Coronado Island for work in early November. The group stayed and met at the stunning Hotel del Coronado. What an unbelievably beautiful and luxurious property! There are endless shops, restaurants, and an incredible spa. From the minute you pull up to the front drive, you are taken in awe by the beauty and detail of the property. The lobby is a stunning piece of historical artwork itself with intricately carved wood. The property is meticulously kept and manicured. My room was spectacular with lots of space and 2 closets! I had a slight view of the beach and that’s all I needed. I was able to enjoy bringing the ocean sounds into my room by keeping the door open while I was in the room. As I was on the property for a few days, I was also able to walk around lots, go to all of the shops, and eat in many of the F&B outlets. Pros: - Bathroom vanity mirror had dimmer. I have never seen this before and I now need in all of my hotel rooms. This was a gamechanger for me - Everything on property is beautiful, every turn there is a garden or rocking chair or beautiful beach - The various stores at hotel are absolutely wonderful! I really enjoyed shopping during my downtown - Spa is fantastic – one of the best massages I’ve had! Cons: - Nothing major but was surprised by how expense the coffee shop was. But it is an island so prices tend to be higher - Bathroom in room was also super small Recommendations: - No notes! Overall, a fantastic stay and I cannot wait to go back!

A Truly Magical Christmas Stay
We had an unforgettable stay at the Hotel del Coronado. We were lucky enough to win a two-night stay and saved it specifically for Christmas after hearing how magical the Del is during the holidays — and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The Holiday in Oz Christmas light show was beautiful, and learning about the hotel’s ties to The Wizard of Oz and Marilyn Monroe made it even more special. We loved the spa facilities (especially after the 2020 remodel), the ghost tour (highly recommend!), and browsing the charming shops throughout the property. Despite the holiday crowds, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. One thing to note: most activities and amenities are not complimentary, so it’s best to budget for extra costs, especially during Christmas time. We stayed in two rooms — one with a perfect view of the Christmas lights, and another in the historic Victorian Building, which was stunning from the architecture to the views of Coronado Island. Thank you, Hotel del Coronado, for such a magical and memorable experience. We can’t wait to return in May and beyond!

Beautiful location. Delicious food. Perfect service.
Dinner at "Veranda" restaurant was wonderful. Delicious meals, even if very expensive. Our servers Gary and Fnu were perfectly attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Famous for being famous
It’s not that great. It’s ok. One warning!! DO NOT STAY HERE BETWEEN THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS!!! It is more crowded and chaotic than peak days at Disney World. As a result the hotel services suffer. They really don’t care that you are a guest and you can’t access hotel amenities because of the throngs of humanity. If you are old and like kitschy stuff then by all means.
