Good location, comfortable rooms, beautiful building. Above all: VERY welcoming helpful staff, did EVERYTHING to assist and explain. Hotel has some pecularities: 1 - Shower water pressure very weak. When I raised the prblm, they removed a valve that intentionally saves water. 2 - Elevator (for a three floors building) screeches as it passed my 2nd floor room, just in front of it. 3 - Rstrnt isn't part of hotel, so payments cannot b charged to room. 4 - Rooms at the deep end (104, 105, 204, 205, 304, 305) share a venting space, that carries and amplifies voices and noises between all of them. Quite disturbing.

A great little hotel with delightful staff, located a short walk from the centre of town. Individually designed and decorated rooms, an okay restaurant (there's lots of choice in Oaxaca) and surprisingly quiet for where it is. Highly recommended.

Clean & comfortable hotel, walking distance to El Zocalo. Basic amenities included, comfortable bed. Adjacent restaurant is ok,
Great artistic cultural style, gives Oaxacan vibes. Ask for clean daily towels if preferred. Restaurant serves small portions & is pricy. Better food portions and authentic taste at El Mercado, 20 de Noviembre, 4 blocks away. Everything opens at 8am and closes early, so plan for that.

Pleasant hotel
First impressions were the hotel would be quite loud, but then, México is quite loud generally 😀. But I was pleasantly surprised. The staff are lovely and were all very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are colourful and had all I needed, some water and a comfy bed. The breakfast was ok, choice of eggs, bread and jam. The hotel has its own restaurant which has a good evening menu. I ate here twice and both times I was pleased with my meal. The staff again were very helpful. The location is one of the best points, 5 mins from the main square and a range of places to eat, drink etc. I’d stop here again

Wonderful stay in Oaxaca
We had a wonderful experience at this hotel where we went to celebrate our sister's milestone birthday . It was an easy ride from the airport by collective taxi service and the welcome drink and ease of check in was a great start to our mini-vacation in Oaxaca . We had two rooms on the third floor and it reminded us of our grandmothers home with a courtyard in the center and lovely decor. The staff are extremely helpful and obliging and the rooms were spacious and cool and cleaned extremely well . The staff decorated one room to celebrate my sister ( very thoughtful and generous ) and we had two bottles of complimentary sparkling wine during our stay . They helped make restaurants reservations and plan trips for us and the hotel is very conveniently located and within walking distance to most sights in the Centro . Also very safe for women traveling alone . The lack of a usable elevator was the only slight inconvenience but the staff helped us with our luggage at all times . The food at the restaurant on-site was also excellent quality . All in all a great place to stay in Oaxaca
