Aug 28, 2023This location scams you of your money. Be careful
Employees are charging you extra for a room then pocketing the money. I purchased 1 night at the hotel with 1 clerk.The following day before check out, I go to purchase 3 more nights. A different clerk. A tall tanned man charges me more for the rooms than the previous clerk. I told him why if I paid a different price. He then proceeds to say I was undercharged and charges me more for the difference. I pay because I need the room. The following day I check out. Get my deposit back minus $5 because I did not have my paper parking pass. I forget to ask for receipt. The day after that I go back for my receipt and the receipt does not match what I paid. I had paid more when the receipt says I paid less. I ask to speak to manager. They say manager will arrive shortly. I'm waiting, I also ask that they review cameras. They then tell me that manager will not come in today. And that the cameras will take a day to review. Instead of a manger trying to resolve a money issue, they just hide and avoid. Whoever owns this location has to audit their employees. And I'm still waiting for my proper receipt or the difference of what I paid extra, back.

JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE
Booked through a third party, the pictures through the third party booking looked nice, but was clearly not of this hotel. There was graffiti on the bathroom walls. The bathroom door was broken and had a nice fist shaped hole in the middle of it. The bathroom lock was also broken, so I hope you enjoy your door being held closed by an oversized cotton swab. The curtains have multiple holes in them that let the lovely flood light from the parking lot in. People will pound on your door at 1am allegedly looking for someone. One of the beds has stains on the sheets, God only knows from what. There was a bloody fingerprint on the doorjam when we checked in. Door barely closed enough to dead bolt, and no secondary lock was on the door. Homeless sitting amongst the “securely gated” cars in the parking lot. The clerks are behind bullet proof glass when you go to check in. They’ll hold $20 just to use their TV remote. There were what appeared to be multiple pimps and prostitutes staying there as well.

Room from hell… should be shut down
Recently stayed overnight and such a terrible experience I prepaid through Traveluro and yet got charged again and claimed Ill get reimbursed Room 104 needed repairs and it was filthy( dime on bathroom floor, dried cereal behind fridge and freezer with empty soda bottle and paper cup with straw, non working coffee maker) Missing lampshade on the only light in the room, noisy AC, incomplete towel set

This hotel is on the Sepulveda Blvd Strip in the San Fernando Valley. Having stayed at most of the hotels/motels on the boulevard, the HOMETOWN INN (9401 Sepulveda Blvd) Employs a dedicated front office staff committed to caring for their guests and accommodating special needs at any hour of the day. The hotel itself is well maintained and for the daily rate of $100.00 seven days a week, there are no surprises. Forget a coffee cup or need a plastic fork or spoon? Just ask the desk clerk. They cheerfully provided what no other establishment would ever consider. HOMETOWN INN of North Hills wins my 5 💎 award. Secured parking, well lighted common areas, wifi that works all over the property, cable tv and A/C. 7-Eleven at donut shop some fast food restaurants in the laundry mat or steps from the front door.

Terrible!
The health dept. should shut this motel down! Not worth $100 a night, let alone $50 a night! Rooms have roaches, water leaks, mold/mildew, and dirt/grime! Drugs and prostitution! Shady staff. I am not even sure how this place stays open! It should be shut down.
