I must say for the first time I was very disappointed in the overall service/ amenites of the Holiday Inn and felt compelled to write a review as my family has stayed many times there . Starting with the front desk and check in process. The lines are very long and you would think at such a busy time at 4 pm there would be more than 2 people working. Our first room smelled like mildew and we were lucky to be able to switch to a different tower. In order to use a bathroom on premise when you are at the beach / pool you need to use your room key to access the bathroom. Often the bathroom would not open. Forcing me to go to the main lobby and wait again to get help/ key. Very inconvenient and extremely frustrating. My husband attempted to get new keys after this incident and was treated rudely by front desk personnel. On the beach you are only allowed one beach towel per day per person. My son attempted to exchange a wet towel for a dry one and was asked if he understood English! I know we are not staying at the Ritz, but I would expect some level of hospitality which we did not receive. I have personally recommended the holiday inn to multiple people and have brought groups in excess of 40 to the hotel. But after this stay it would be very difficult to recommend.

We had the best time in Aruba with Holiday Inn. The team was very nice and helpful, the room was comfortable with a beautiful balcony and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. Angelo, Willy and Mily made our nights even better, at Da Vinci and Agave restaurant. Great service and food. We would definitely visit again!
