I stayed at voco Paris from 27-11-2025 to 29-11-2025, and unfortunately my experience was extremely distressing. During my stay, I was bitten by bed bugs, which caused visible bite marks. At checkout, I reported the issue to the receptionist and even showed her the bite marks, but her response was shocking. She did not take the matter seriously, did not ask about my health, and did not offer any help or apology. There was no concern or attempt to handle the situation in a professional manner. This is completely unacceptable and not what one expects from a hotel that claims to offer quality service and hospitality. Bed bugs are a serious hygiene and health issue, and the lack of response made the experience even worse. It has now been almost two months, and I am still not fully recovered from the effects of this stay. This was a very disappointing and upsetting experience, and I would strongly advise others to be cautious.

Our family had a great time. The hotel is clean, modern, and comfortable, and the staff and management were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was better than what we’ve had at many other hotels in Europe. Super easy access to the metro, which made getting around the city really simple. We’d definitely stay here again.

Sep 06, 2025Poor standard hotel - wouldn’t recommend
Poor 4* hotel in my opinion. Starting with the good points - staff were lovely, rooms were a fair size with decent amenities of a kettle, iron, tv etc. restaurant and gym on site. Short taxi/metro ride to sites. 12pm late check out. Restaurant on site, ate here the first night and had a pleasant meal of sea bass, which was cooked lovely & at a reasonable price point especially for a hotel restaurant. USB ports and USB-C ports next to the bed which at handy for charging phones etc , without adapter plugs for international guests. Negative points - gym was literally 2-3 pieces of cardio equipment and was the smallest hotel gym I’ve ever seen, barely useable if more than one of you is in there. Breakfast was abysmal, with no basics - such as no fresh fruit (tinned pineapple only), no granola, no butter etc & seat yourself so very few tables left available with 1-2 people spanning across large tables etc. wouldn’t recommend the area, as it’s a business district that’s quite rough - lots of homeless etc, felt unsafe running solo with headphones, a feeling I’ve never had on an international business trip before. First night was so noisy with the windows open that me & another guest (in another room) couldn’t sleep at all? But couldn’t have the window closed due to poor aircon units. During my 4 night stay, despite marking my room as wanting to be made up, my bed sheets were not changed (I know this due to a small mark I made accidentally on night 1), and there was a used pillowcase under the bathroom sink the whole time during my stay - presume the cleaners have used this for mirrors etc, but let t it on day 1 and it still remained there on day 5 (photo shown) marks all over the bathroom walls, and the shower head was not useable as it was broken and fixed in position on the hook, away from the actual shower. The shower also peeled away black marks, leaving debris all over my hands when used and also leaving an unclean feeling. attention to detail lacking - marks on the wall, tv not straight, artwork worky etc. Would not recommend & probably wouldn’t return

First night here and the safe in the room does not work. Called the front desk to ask for help with the safe and was told someone would come there. Nobody showed up. Went to the front desk and asked in person if they had a safe deposit box at reception -- no dice. Agent then came to the room but she could not get the safe working and said would try again tomorrow. Agent also not able to get air conditioning working. I did not ask for or need a fan but that's what was brought next. Room has a stool but not a proper chair. Small room on 8th floor with awkward layout.
