    Ok but not brilliant.

    I expected a little better from a Double tree. When we checked in and entered our room 324 it absolutely stunk of damp. It was so bad I immediately returned to reception to get the room changed. They were very good and arranged for a room changed they also offered me a bottle of wine as an apology which was nice. However, whilst the replacement room 422, was much better there was still a slight damp smell. Reading other reviews it seems this is a common problem. There is obviously an inherent problem that the hotel management need to sort out. Bed was comfortable and quality fittings in the small bathroom. Breakfast was good and food hot.

    Good hotel in great location

    Stayed for 1 night, very nice hotel, plenty of parking in underground garage, staff friendly, room pretty spacious, comfortable and clean. We had good nights sleep and bathroom facilities all good Bar is great with sea views, where you can watch world go by while enjoying refreshing drinks Hotel is in quiet area but within easy walk of lots of bars, restaurants & attractions

    The hotel is nice good vibes the poll area is nice specialty pool bar very nice drinks and services especially one of the bartender Daniele him was so helpful, kind and make cool and delicious drinks, thanks.

    Hotel was refreshed, close to shops and shopping centre.

    Doubletree Hilton was a very comfortable hotel, close to everything, short walk to casino and tours. RSL club on next corner, which food was delicious

    Cairns leg of journey

    The hotel is very clean with great amenities!! Gym, pool etc..The rooms were very spacious and clean. We had 2xdouble beds and still had lots of room. The room itself included a safe, fridge, ironing board, iron and hairdryer. It also had robes and slippers. It is very close to all areas including Marina. Excellent very friendly and polite staff!!
