Overall, this hotel is a great place at a great location. We arrived early, but they were able to get us checked in right away. The room was beautiful! There is also a TGI Friday's right next door, so food was no problem. With a free shuttle to Universal, what more could you ask? There is some construction going on right now, so the elevator and hallway were a bit rough, but this did not detract from our enjoyment at all! I would definitely book this hotel again!

Nov 21, 2025We would have never stayed if we knew you were remodeling
We were disappointed that when we booked 6 months in advance through universal, that when we arrived they were in remodel mode. The elevators and hallways were smelly. No microwave in the room. They only person we appreciate the most was our housekeeper Singh. She went out of her way to take care of us for our week stay. Our daughter got sick, and she did everything in her power to help and try to make her feel better.

Very helpful crew overall
Got to give much thanks to the lady that cleaned my room the few times that she did ,where I had a lot of dirty towels and sheets for her to changed and she always came with a smile which is great ...Mrs.Singh..just wanted to say I appreciate your dedication to your work and continue doing it with a smile ..

Olivia was so helpful with assisting us through check-in, very professional and informative. Pretty much everyone was helpful, which was great after a stressful flight.

- Current Renovations: Description: Renovations Complete: Coordinating with the Resort's overall entertainment theme, the guestrooms received new artwork, lighting, draperies, furniture as well as new pillow-top bedding and bath signature linen. The guestroom bathrooms were also enhanced
by the renovation. New bathtubs, lavatories and sinks were installed in each of the bathrooms in the Standard Deluxe Rooms as well as new tile. All bathrooms received new lighting fixtures, Moen Shower Heads and Signature shower curtains on modern curved rods.
Outside the hotel, visitors will notice a modern look of large tinted windows, replacing the sliding doors and balconies of the Standard Deluxe Rooms wing, along with architectural enhancements over the entire structure that now define the look of the hotel. New exterior lighting, landscaping and new signage was also added as part of Intercontinental Hotel Group’s Global ReLaunch Program.
In addition, a "kids friendly" play area was added to the pool area complete with splash zone and interactive water features.
Pets up to 40 lbs. are allowed with a one-time non-refundable cleaning fee. Pets may NOT be allowed in the room unattended.
