Whack
Honestly they treated us like a burden… it made us feel like an inconvenience.. not worth the money for service. We came out for a fun night to just relax and this hotel staff felt very distant and annoyed.

5 STARS for the front desk staff!
Every year we come to St. Pete for a family vacation but this was our first stay at this hotel. We had a little bit of a complicated reservation, and I was pleasantly surprised that our needs were accommodated without several follow up phone calls, as has been my experience with other hotels. Dominique and Brian are FANTASTIC and their customer service is above and beyond. The location is a little bit further from the action we typically see, but the service has made it worth while. Will absolutely stay here again.

Maids extremely loud in hallway
The rooms and balcony were great however we could not sleep in. The maids were talking on their cell phones extremely loud in the hallway and it woke us up. We laid there for a minute hoping she was just passing by but she was standing in front of our door speaking to her son on her cell phone loudly. She was about to clean the room in front of us. Afterwards, her call ended and she was yelling down the hall to the male maid or maintenance man and they started speaking loudly down the hall from each other. This was around 7:30-8am. I wont be booking here again because when we are on vacation, we like to sleep in and relax. There was no respect for others in the room sleeping. Later, we got in the elevator and another guest mentioned they were woken up by the maids screaming in the hallway and asked if we experienced the same thing.

One of the worst hotel experiences of my life
I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding my stay at Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon Park from August 7 to August 10, 2025 ( confirmation # 3278712126). My experience was marred by multiple service failures and unacceptable staff conduct, which I detail below: 1. NO BELLMAN SERVICE WITH NO PRIOR NOTICE. Upon arrival, we learned bellman service was unavailable. This was not disclosed at booking or on the website. I am in my Seventies in poor health. I was forced to transport my own luggage from my car to our room on the 8th floor. It was an unexpected and physically taxing task at a full service Hilton property. 2. HOUSEKEEPING COMMUNICATION BREAKDOWN AND REFUSAL OF SERVICE. I attempted to request room cleaning, but the staff members I encountered spoke no English. I politely asked a housekeeping supervisor to send an English-speaking staff member so I could communicate my needs. No one was sent , and my room remained uncleaned for two days.. 3. UNPROFESSIONAL RESTAURANT SERVICE. After tipping one waitress at the hotel restaurant, it became apparent that staff expected tipps to be shared. The following day, a different waiter, who was very friendly to us the first night, didn't even say hello to us and made a sarcastic remark to the same waitress(" Your friends are here") when we returned. Served us without a greeting or basic courtesy. 4. FRONT DESK MANAGER CONDUCT. The front desk manager attempted to call us during our stay but couldn't reach us. When I went to the front desk in person, she refused to give me her name, stating, " It's none of your business." In reference to my housekeeping concern, she added," That you want an English-speaking maid." The last time I checked , we are in the US. Such a remark was dismissive, unprofessional, and inappropriate for a Hilton representative, especially when I was simply asking to be able to communicate with housekeeping in order to have my room cleaned. This series of incidents reflects a consistent disregard for Hilton's service standards, professionalism, and guest respect.

Would not recommend
We just returned from staying for 2 nights at the Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon Park. Our experience left a lot to be desired, and I would not recommend this hotel. We were a group of 3 women in town for a wedding, so we had a room with 2 double beds. At first glance the room was fine, but we encountered a few issues that were frustrating. The pool area looks lovely, but there are bugs and ants all over the place. It's hard to relax on a lounger when you have to keep brushing ants off of your arms and legs. YUCK. I'm ok with a "normal" amount of bugs or ants when I am outside, but this was excessive. There were also unsightly stains on the bottom of the pool, and missing tiles around the pool's edge. The pool area needs some care and attention. When we were trying to get ready for the wedding, we discovered they had only given us 2 towels. I do not understand why hotels do this? It's a room that sleeps up to 4 people, there are 3 people on the reservation, but only 2 towels supplied? We had to call to get towels delivered. Not the end of the world, but it put a wrinkle in our timing trying to get ready. The shower was terrible. The water came out at a slow trickle, and then it would shut off completely. It took a terribly long time for all 3 of us to shower when we had to keep waiting for the water to turn back on while we sat there dripping with shampoo in our hair. Between waiting for the towels and waiting for the water to work, we ended up scrambling to try to get ready in time. Not an ideal way to try to get ready for a wedding. The room was cleaned while we were out, but they left some of their cleaning supplies behind. All in all, I can't give this hotel more than 3 stars... There are other options in the area, and I would try one of those instead.
