Good Location
Location was good to catch our tours also walking distance to Macey’s and winter wonderland display. Hotel was clean and tidy with good security. Checkin was easy and we were upgraded to a junior suite. The breakfast buffet was pricey 44 USD but there was a 24hr grab and go in lobby which was perfect for us. Rooms were spacious clean and tidy. Overall a very good stay.

Great Stay
Good hotel, spacious rooms easy access to tour pick up locations and good security. Grab and go breakfast options were good and Sky bar has great views of the bay. Checkin was easy and service was great.

Great hotel and facilities except the rooftop bar!
The hotel overall was excellent as were the facilities. Most staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very expensive for a general buffet style and I would recommend eating elsewhere. The lobby and bar drinks are also average. We were served very basic bland cocktails despite the price and menu. The most disappointing thing was the rooftop bar which closed early twice whilst we were there. We had bought champagne only to have the shutter blinds closed by the staff whilst enjoying the views. They were very rude. The location is very good though and the hotel excellent overall outside of the couple of issues.

Good hotel overall, just not the best neighborhood
This seems to be the go-to hotel for our San Francisco conferences so we've stayed here a few times and have another stay coming up next year. I'll get this out of the way first: it's not in the best area since the Tenderloin is right there. It's really a shame since Union Square is also really close and there are some nice restaurants nearby as well and we have always felt safe in the hotel. That being said, it's a pretty good hotel overall. The service has been good each time we've stayed here and our room and the hotel overall has been clean. The bathroom is small, but has very good water pressure, so that really makes up for the size. Parking is crazy expensive ($75/night), so I'd avoid parking here if you can avoid it. The breakfast buffet is also very expensive (~$50/person), so we skipped that, but they have a great selection of pastries and coffee in the lobby, so that made for a good quick breakfast for us. It's a clean hotel with good service and a solid place for a conference. It unfortunately has the Tenderloin as a neighbor, but that's why we use Uber to get around.

A great stay!
I stayed here for two nights on my own. I was a little apprehensive about how safe I would feel near the hotel but it was fine (as per other reviews, I always turned right when leaving the hotel lobby and had no issues, even on my own). I had a lovely room on the 32nd floor with great views (including the Golden Gate Bridge in the background). The bed was good and the bathroom was fine. As a Hilton Honors gold member I received complimentary bottles of water which were appreciated. I enjoyed a drink at the bar on the 46th floor which had the most amazing views! All of the staff were very helpful and obliging. I would recommend to others.
