Great visit to Quebec City
We stayed two nights at the end of May, paid a little more for a king room with river view and it was amazing. We did the self parking for $22 per night knowing we would not be needing our car very much. We didn’t try the restaurant as it seemed a bit pricey with not a lot of options. Both mornings we skipped the buffet and got breakfast sandwiches and muffins at the cafe which were really good. The front desk ladies were really nice and check in was quick. We didn’t try the pool or gym so can’t speak of that. There were a few business meetings going on but it was very quiet at night. Would definitely recommend.

Ideal location, clean rooms
We are Hilton Diamond members and stay at hotels over 200 nights a year typically. We made a long weekend out visiting Quebec City (which is a perfect amount of time to see what you want) and stayed at the Hilton using Honors points. We paid for a mountain view two queen room, was "upgraded" to a two queen Parliament view on the 17th floor. The room was adequate, albeit a little tight in space with the two beds and the furniture, not a lot of floor space left. The hotel seemed to attract a lot of youth groups like for sport tournaments and it was loud at night with young kids running around the hallways without any supervision and kids making noise in the room above as well. If that kind of thing bothers you, bring ear plugs and/or white noise machine. Since we are Diamond, we also received access to the Executive Lounge. Breakfast is served in the Executive Lounge from 7-10:30am, they typically have some sort of hot egg item, first morning was premade egg and cheese omelets, second morning scrambled eggs and third morning was egg, ham and veggie omelets. They also offered a warm french toast maple bake (almost like a bread pudding/custard ) and waffles with real maple syrup. There was also fresh cut fruit, yogurt, sliced cheese, hard boiled eggs, packets of oatmeal along with toppings like nuts, dried fruit, all kinds of pastry and breads to toast. The espresso machine was not working while we were there, but there were regular drip hot coffee and a Nespresso machine to use. If you can't eat gluten, there was not a whole there there to eat, but enough to at least get something. During the day they always had out bottled water and soft drinks along with pretzels, potato chips and trail mix. In the evening starting from 5-7pm they had light appetizers; usually two hot choices, over the 2 nights we visited the lounge in the evening there was a fish (way overcooked), fried cheese pieces, arancini along with cold options like mini sandwiches/pinwheels, cold pizza slices, cheeses, salami, crackers, olives, vegetable crudite. Alcohol was available for purchase, but not included. Kudos to Danny (and really all the staff) in the Exec Lounge, he was hardworking and helpful, a definite credit to this Hilton. The location to the Old City can't be beat, a few minute walk to the gate into the old city and a 5-10 walk to the Citadel or Plains of Abraham. Parking was annoying as there is not any parking on site, you either have to self park at at a nearby garage, with only one in/out per day or valet park with unlimited in/out. The problem with valet parking is that we waited anywhere from 15-45 minutes for our car after requesting it, it is not an efficient operation, especially during peak times at check in or check out.

First Class Hotel
The hotel is first class all the way, as I would expect from any Hilton. I am a diamond member, and was not disappointed. The rooms were great, we stayed in a junior suite. The executive level was very nice, however if you want a complete breakfast I would go down to the restaurant in the lobby. Great and very friendly staff. The hotel overlooks the old city, so you can walk to any location in Old Quebec

Average service, excellent views, middle of the everything
It was our first time trip to Quebec City and first experience with Hilton Hotels. The hotel it self was very clean with excellent views of the parliament and the fort. The only negative about this hotel is the check in. Unfortunately, even though the APP has check in option as well as digital key option for members, you still have to stand in line for in person check in. This unfortunately caused us extreme inconvenience because we had 2 infants with us and wait time to check in was over 1 hour with only 5 guests ahead. Otherwise, the hotel it self is in the middle of everything where you can walk around and explore the city.

Nice hotel - great views from higher floors.
Very nice hotel, great staff. Good location. We walked to the old town of Quebec City. A little bit of a walk, especially returning it's up hill. Ask for a high floor for great views of the city. Would definitely recommend if staying in Quebec City.
