Non-stop very noisy building work and heavy equipment on-site 24/7!!
The Hotel did not inform us or any of the other guests that they are doing massive buildings works. There is also no mention on the website. The noise from our room was so bad that we were not able to open the door or use the pool. It starts at 07:00 am and goes nonstop to 5pm even on memorial day! They also closed the service elevator so the staff including the builders use the gust elevators. If you have reservations call the hotel check on the building works. It was the worst very expensive break we ever had and need a holiday to recover from this ordeal. Please see attached pictures and I will try to upload the video from our room balcony.

AVOID - UNDER RENOVATION - UNBELIEVABLE
Avoid - property is being renovated. Very noisy lobby, temporary dining & bar in windowless ballroom. Only 5 umbrellas on pool deck, broken umbrellas in shed (???), No towels at pool, told staff failed to launder them(???), outdoor bar under construction. Our AC did not work, they gave us a box fan, fire alarm blasted, NO room/hall communication system, left guests scrambling for exits. Entire experience was UNBELIEVABLE.

Beware! Don’t be Duped Like Me by this Hotel
This hotel should not be open during their construction/renovation project. Firstly, I made a reservation on October 27th 2022 and I was placed in a ground floor king bed room with construction taking place just outside of the room that had a back door with front row to all of the action. When I asked for another upper level room I was told nothing with a king was available. Really, with advanced notice from October of last year and knowing this project was going on, that’s all you could do? Additionally, the fire alarm went off 5 times in the middle of the night on night two. We would get back to sleep when again, the alarm blasted us out of bed repeatedly. When I tried calling the front desk to see what was happening there was no answer. I mean, “save yourself”. On day 3 we asked for the room to be cleaned completely, (apparently service happens by request only) and after spending the entire day away; we got back to the room to find fresh towels and the bed was still not made, or addressed in any way. For four nights, the price charged was over $1,530.00 after all taxes and fees. With “service” and deplorable “accommodations” such as this (and I use both term very lightly), it is thievery to charge as they did, or to remain open during such time. The Hilton organization should be very embarrassed to butcher what was once a reputable name by the so called hotel experience I just encountered. Extremely disappointed with a sense of personal fiscal abuse.

Nightmare
Booked with trailfinders 10 nights at the Hilton Pensacola beach hotel. Absolutely disgusting was like a building site. No pool no restaurant only temporary set up. No bar only temporary set up. Digger machines wacker plates banging drilling up name it we had it. They block paving outside around the pool are and building something else not sure what but my partner said there was steals which is for a building. Trailfinders said they knew nothing about the refurbishment and we were most definitely not informed about it if we had been told about it we would never of booked this hotel.

Quality staff and hotel
Michael-bellhop, was amazing! He was very kind and very helpful. He was friendly as he loaded the suitcases onto the trolley and the next day he saw me carrying an ice chest, and offered to push it on the bellhop as the ice machine on the 5th floor was broken, he took me down to the lobby and showed me an ice machine, waited for me and loaded the ice chest onto the bellhop so I didn’t have to carry the ice chest up full of ice. He then also helped load our car back up. He was very easy to talk to, and definitely deserves a raise!
