The Signia Experience Memorial Day 2023
I remember the first time I came to this hotel, it was amazing experience. As a Hilton Diamond member, we were treated very well from even the time we checked in. My visit this May of 2023 for Memorial Day, was semi impressed. Upon my arrival to the outside entrance, the valet members were okay but when I went inside to inquire for my upgrade and room keys (to note that I actually got two rooms for my mother's bday weekend to which I raved about this hotel), I get a phone call from my sister saying a staff from valet was asking to move my vehicle. Really? I was checking in getting situated. I came out and kindly told them I was checking in and will move the car shortly. Another thing to note was that with all our equipment, we were not able to get a bell hop carrier unless we used a bell hopper. We did not because we did not have cash at hand to tip. Back to my interaction with the desk representative at check in. First was surprised there was not Hilton Honors members line. A regular line. When you work on getting points towards Hilton, at least feel a little privileged. Right? Nope did not get that. The desk members were are very serious with their nose down in the computer. When acknowledged, just plain jane attitude. I just kept my normal appreciated kind attitude and asked how they were doing. Again not much reaction. I am not asking to be super bubbly but at least have some normal interaction. But ok. Entering the parking garage, I got stuck because it acknowledged my car but would not open. I was not able to back up but finally other cars saw the situation and moved. By the way, I think it is crazy to pay for parking when staying at the hotel. I get if it is for people coming for the convention area but not people who are staying. I quickly proceeded to the room to enjoy the little time left at the pool. We came down and boy got to say this made my day. We started to relax and have a couple of drinks. We were met with Pete! An amazing guy who catered to us and had a great personality. Glad he worked the whole weekend because we stood with him the whole stay. We also met Kara who I felt bad when at the end she had to pick up after kids who left a mess because the parents were too busy chatting then got up and left. We appreciate the service industry and no matter what we keep our area clean and help. We also met Denard who also was great. They were the highlight of our stay at the pool area. They checked on us and made sure we were taking care of. This is the experience we I like. Thank you Kara for also disfusing a situation with a server in your error. Before I can say anything, you approched me and handled it well. To Joseph in Harvest Bistro, thank you for making our day as well with your kindess and great service. He couldn't believe that we left the table neat to make it easier for him. That's what we do! We help each other. When we went to our room, the issue began. Our room was warm even after turning down the ac. The toilet was leaking by the tank area and rusted. The faucet was leaking. I placed a request for the morning because we had a long day. I went down the morning to be sure the request was entered but not all of it was. I was given an opportunity to change rooms and if we upgraded a charge. I declined because we had a lot and because the room was not ready nor was I going to pay for an upgrade. But thank you Robbie for trying. Regard to my sister room, she found blood all over the sheets. Let's say it took forever for someone to answer the phone but kept calling. It was late in the night and Jill told me someone will come up in 20 minutes. I asked how come it would take long since it is 1am. Jill stated the guy was doing things. In regard to the the bloody sheets, Jill said possibly it was the cleaning lady who possibly cut her finger. I quickly informed her that this was no simple cut if you know what I mean and did not understand how someone missed that while making the bed. She did not even offer to move us until I asked. Moving to the other room, same ordeal, dried blood on those sheets too. Ethan the night manager was kind and you could see it in his face that he could not believe. Poor guy helped us move and when we checked the other room he just felt bad. He took down the sheet and I helped him make the bed. You can see he was trying and embarrassed. Oh yes, to the cashier at the market, you were kind and it sad how people were towards you and yet you smiled. Kudos to you! Glad to have met you and keep on! Sorry I did not catch your name. We made the best of it and got some credits, but part of our bill was not corrected even after asking even via email. My suggestion, check the room regularly! Attitude check for some. If you do not like dealing with people, dont work in the industry. People like me are appreciative of this industry and we are respectful and kind and humble. Trust me I know, I take care of people regular basis. I love what I do. Please do not take it out on people like me. This Hotel needs to do a little revamp. Hope this improves because it is a nice hotel and therefore I will not post the pictures of the sheets. But if needed, I surely can.

Fantastic experience and kind staff
This is our second stay and it was equally as great as the first! The staff was very attentive and helped my wife find her lost iPhone and genuinely cared about helping her. The pool is one of the best hotel pools I've ever experienced and the food is great, whether at Harvest Bistro or Beech (the poolside restaurant). The rooms were immaculate and quiet, and the location and Disney benefits (free shuttle and early entry) are huge for a great experience. Be sure to add your reservation (ticket they give you at check-in) to your ticket in the Disney World app early so you can qualify for Lightning Lane and early entry. Do check the shuttle schedule with the driver when you board because it reverses order at night, going to Hollywood studios last instead of first. Overall, I love this hotel and would come back whenever I could.

Wasted Breastmilk
I never leave reviews, but I am beyond irate. Hotel was overall fine, but failed to properly store pumped breast milk-well over 100 oz—while I was traveling for work. It was placed in a commercial freezer by a bellman and at some point was removed AND LEFT OUT—not even refrigerated. It was warm when I went to pick it up and the bell man had to hunt it down. This is so beyond unacceptable and I felt compelled to caution any mommas traveling here who need milk storage to consider shipping it home or checking on it everyday.

Very pleasant!
Our stay was very pleasant at Signia! The front desk personnel was very accommodating (we checked in early for a $35 charge) , the housekeeping did an excellent job on keeping our room tidy, the maintenance staff was very quick to respond about the bathroom sink and airflow with the A/C, the grounds are very tidy and clean, and the pool is amazing. The only thing that I frowned on was the shuttle service cannot pick you up at the entrance of the hotel, per hotel’s request - they have a designated area down a set of stairs near the parking garage, this can be challenging if you have several pieces of luggage and a baby.
