This hotel is fabulous! Don’t be afraid to stay here because the water taxi was quick and efficient.

This hotel was amazing! We wanted something more modern, with a restaurant and or bar, and air conditioning (should we need it). This exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We had private transportation from the Marco Polo airport to the hotel. We had private transportation from the hotel back to land to meet a car to take us to our Royal Caribbean cruise out of Ravenna. We booked an executive room which includes a complimentary breakfast buffet each morning at II Molino and access to a small executive lounge that had complimentary drinks and snacks. My Sister notified the front desk that it was my birthday and when we returned from a day of exploring and sight seeing we had a lovely bottle of Italian Prosecco on ice, a card, bottles of water, and balloons waiting for us. We needed to use the business center to print out some tickets and there was no additional charge for this service. We used Room Service on our first day to order a pizza when we were jet lagged. It arrived quickly and it was tasty. A couple of evenings, after sight seeing, we had snacks and beverages in the Rialto Bar & Restaurant. There was a water taxi that ran approximately every 20 minutes from the hotel to St. Mark’s Square. (Reminded me of Disney transportation if you stay in one of their resorts - very organized and efficient). We loved this place and if we return to Venice we would definitely return to this hotel.

    Venice in comfort

This is our third time here in the past 10 years. The historical building is impressive. The view to Venice is stunning . The modern rooms are very comfortable, although we preferred the more vintage and cozy decorations of yore ! The staff are welcoming and helpful. The bathrooms are spotless. It was a little chilly in the room while we stayed there, despite the heating, but housekeeping brought up a nice fluffy blanket for me. Don’t forget the Guidecca faces north so never gets the sun.. The only drawbacks are the lack of welcome in the room which we’ve also noticed in other Hilton’s that we’ve stayed in, no snacks or goodies, no welcome note. There are no tidbits in the mini bar either. You are only offered two cans of water so make sure you buy some if you don’t like tap water. The breakfast however is sumptuous and exceptional, a vast choice of everything and the only low point is the guy who sings during it. Another slight drawback is that if you’re not a tech friendly person or if you are a super senior, there is no paper menu and everything has to be read online on the tv or through a QR code. The final drawback is that waiting for the boat to and fro to San Marco can take a while and you must take that into consideration if you are dining out in town and coming back, especially in the winter when it can be awfully cold waiting for the shuttle . Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay and I’m sure we’ll be back! Grazie!

    Great Hotel

Great service, very clean rooms and up to date with a fantastic breakfast buffet. Of our trip to Venice this hotel will definitely be one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you. A couple of notables, no laundry rooms and not any insight on the best way to get from the train station to the hotel. We figured it out but only after reaching out to the hotel several times to no avail.

    Great stay in Venice

Very kind and helpful staff. The hotel was beautiful. Dining experience was excellent and the room was luxurious. The roof top bar has breathtaking views of Venice. Unfortunately due to the season rooftop pool was closed. Overall a great stay.

Will never stay anywhere else in Venice

One of my fav things about Venice is this hotel. I love the historic building and the character. It has the best roof top pool I have ever been too with the best views of Venice. I can’t really comment on the staff as didn’t have much interaction however the times we did was good. The water taxi is good and reliable, the hotel gets you out of the hustle of the tourist area while giving you the convenience to be back within minutes of st marks of your need to be. Next to the hotel has some great local restaurants with really good value of money. I have stayed here twice now and would never consider when we return staying anywhere else.
