Expensive for one night $355 - Not worth it - ice machine did not work on my floor - I asked for a iron - after 35 minutes- still not here - changed the temperature on the thermostat, the vent fell off the wall - after two hours, no service . Call the front desk -after two minutes, went to voicemail- all before 11:00 on a Saturday night - all in one night -

Gotta say I don’t understand much of the criticism here. It’s probably 40 years old and is currently being rehabbed. 99% of the complaints here could be solved w the Hilton app — I did everything on the app starting w making the reservation. Airport shuttle? There’s a tracker for the shuttle listed on the app. Long checkin lines? Yes definitely. There seemed to be tons of aimless people who weren’t used to traveling. I checked in on the Hilton app and got a digital key. The reason the lines are long isn’t the staff, it’s the guests look like they haven’t left the house in years. We saw a family of 4 get seated for breakfast while they waited (for hours in the lobby like it was the airport) and got up after looking at the menu prices. Yeah, hotel breakfast is expensive, but the grub was good. The coffee was hot and came quickly. Same about the orange juice though it was cold. The pool is nice and big and had plenty of towels. The shower was very hot and had great pressure. Daily room cleaning was dependable. The balcony in our non-suite was pretty small. Plane spotters will like this place for its airport views. It’s loud though. Again, use the app and pick out the room you want,

Very old run down hotel
Hotel is in poor condition, very rundown not very clean and maintenance is poor; management should be ashamed of themselves. Waiting times at the desk are very long as well. Hilton used to be a high class chain, but they have lowered their standards a lot unfortunately.

Seductive name - very average experience
It's a mediocre Hilton with a seductive name. I gave this a three (remember 3 is average not crappy). The good: The pool is nice, good size, clean and the Hot Tub was hot. Gym has decent equipment and is easy to get to. Not hidden and creepy like some hotel gyms. The view of the Miami skyline on a clear night is lovely. It's close to the airport and shuttles run every 30 minutes. The staff were nice. The less than good: It needs an overhaul. Old rooms, dated, worn (but not dirty). The restaurant is industrial hotel food. The highway is nonstop noise. The plane noise wasn't as bad as I expected based on its location. The worst - It's a "Cruise departure dump" when we checked in, there were like 90 people checking in for their next day departure. It was a madhouse. Same when they checked out.
