Great stay
Location is good. Check in was very smooth and great! As gold members we got lounge access and late check out. Room is nice and spacious. Shower could need an upgrade-squeeking floor and poor water pressure but apart from that bathroom was nice. Comfy bed. Lounge was not the best selection of drinks and food but view is good! At cloud 23 the service was wonderful. Didn’t get their names but two guys working around noon on the 21st were super friendly. Breakfast is great. Nice selection, clean and refilled. Love the chocolate croissant. Absolutely hate the cappuccino. Please do better :-) One more thing- elevators. With only two elevators running (and slooow) it takes forever to go anywhere. Be patient and plan with extra time. That’s one area of improvement. Apart from that we love it here. This hotel delivers every time. Will definitely come back.

Free upgrade
Stunning reception decorated for Christmas. Inquired about an early check in online and got the free Diamond Executive upgrade with an upgrade to a king size room executive suite in the 20th floor with skyline views. Also got access to the Executive lounge with free drinks and canapés 5pm-7pm and free breakfast in the morning. Cannot fault this hotel at all just made the Christmas work do extra special :) will stay again

Mixed Bag but still positive
We arrived at 15.30 & there was an airport style queue waiting to check in but the staff on reception were very quick & efficient so the wait time was kept to a minimum which was a positive start. We had booked an executive room on the 22nd floor with breakfast & dinner included. We asked if we needed to reserve a table for dinner and were advised that there was no need to book! However, when we arrived at the restaurant at 8pm, we were told by the manager that it was full & our only option was to eat in the bar from the bar menu which was very disappointing. We ordered 2 chicken ceaser salads with fries which took 45 minutes to arrive. Both were poor with no taste. The manager was not interested in what we had to say. However, Victoria who served us was very good. We used the executive lounge on the 23rd floor for complimentary drinks & nibbles which were great. The dark, wet, dreary view over Manchester was very underwhelming. Our room was excellent as was the choice at breakfast. Sleep was a major issue with Police vehicle sirens going on until 3am & even on the 22nd floor this was a major issue but nothing to do with the hotel. So a mixed bag really but positives did outweigh negatives and we did enjoy the overall hotel experience. We also booked Cloud 23 which was lovely.

Great experience at the Hilton
The best thing about the hotel is the staff are all so professional and friendly. We were greeted by the wonderful Ana, who told us about all the amenities at the hotel and the best way to get to our concert venue. We were served in the executive lounge by the very attentive Michelle, who kept checking we had enough food and drinks. Lovely atmosphere here and well laid out. Rooms are super clean and the floor to ceiling windows give amazing views of Manchester. Breakfast was busy and I could see people waiting to get seated. Plenty of food being replenished despite the crowds. It was a pleasure to stay here and we will be back.

A reliable hotel choice in Manchester
This is the fourth time I’ve visited the hotel now and service has been consistently great. This was the first for a personal trip rather than business and as a diamond member we visited the lounge. Service in here was also incredibly friendly, snacks on offer and a full range of drinks (visited on a Friday evening). The room was spacious, clean and modern and there was plenty of choice at breakfast. Location is fantastic.
