Mar 21, 2026Lovely anniversary staycation
my boyfriend and i had a great time here celebrating our anniversary. summer at reception was really lovely and gave us complimentary drinks and a room with a great view on the 15th floor. the pool and spa area was very nice and relaxing, and not too busy. the hotel is in a great area, within walking distance to lots of nice restaurants and bars, as well as the tram. the car park discount was also very helpful as well. would definitely recommend.

Lovely anniversary overnight stay
My daughter and son in law have just had an overnight stay here for their anniversary and they loved it they said it was an amazing hotel and staff were nice, the room was lovely and comfortable with a great view and they had been given a ballon with a voucher for 2 complementary drinks which was a nice touch , they had the night in the cloud package which included 2 cocktails in cloud 23 bar which they loved , the views were great , they used the sauna and pool facilities which were great , and breakfast was good with lots of choice , overall they had a really great time and would definetly stay here again

The check in was very slow. The guy on reception seemed amused we were sharing a room (we had booked a twin room) unsure why this would be unusual. The room really needs an upgrade. The woodwork in the room is chipped and old. The bathroom door wouldn't close properly and we found the panel between the bathroom and bedroom odd as of you went to the loo in the night and put the bathroom light on, the light could disturb the other guest. There was lots of dust on the lamp switch and on the shelf above the bed. There were odd red and blue stains on the sheets. There was no mirror near the desk and trying to do make up in the other mirror was difficult as the lighting was poor. There were no sockets next to the beds so had to charge phone across the room. For the price we expected there to be a robe and slippers in the room but we were disappointed. The beds and pillows were comfortable.

Disappointing weekend trip
The reception staff were not welcoming, in particular the male member of staff on reception, on the evening of Friday 27 February. After telling us there were no twin rooms available despite our booking, he the tried to hard sell us the breakfast and dinner. It felt very forced and unwelcoming. Not at all what you expect from a high-end hotel like this. The approach was rough and abrasive. The fold out bed we were arranged, given we didn’t get the twin room booked, was unusable, as the mattress was extremely springy. We had to ask twice for extra blankets when they didn’t arrive and there were only sheets (no duvet) on the bed. On top of this, the same male member of staff took no interest in our enquiry regarding a missing slipper that seemed to have been inadvertently taken by housekeeping. He was rude and walked off uninterested in the conversation. The two female reception staff tried to help but it was frustrating that we had to find it ourselves by walking the corridor on our floor with no goodwill gesture at all given the inconvenience to our short stay. The staff/management are severely lacking the professional welcome and support that should come when staying in such a hotel. Very disappointing.

Great stay
Stayed here on sunday night with girlfriend. Check in a bit slow but given correct room. Suite was lovely which included club lounge access. This was great included excellent service lady there and great views. Definitely coming back
