The Hotel Needs a Major redo
The staff at the hotel could not be better; pleasant and so helpful. The room is another story. The chair in the room is falling apart and all the furniture is chipped. The furniture on the balcony has not been cleaned in a long while and the balcony needs to be repainted. The rugs are old and in poor condition. So overall, the hotel rooms need a major redo. The rooms are not worth the high price.

Nice views, MUCH walking, expensive parking.
The location is very nice, the views are amazing. The walk to my room felt like it was a mile long! However, parking was overpriced, and without a vehicle there would have been no reasonable way to get anywhere. Also, no real food on premise. What would have improved my stay? The layout of the motel needs to be adjusted to reduce walking distance inside the motel. At least breakfast needs to be an option onsite. Parking needs to be a more reasonable rate. For $40 an evening I'd expect a reserved parking spot, not just a mere parking pass, it was $8 more per night for valet parking, necessary if you didn't want to add yet another quarter mile to your walk. I'll look elsewhere next time I am in San Diego.

Wonderful service at Hilton at Torrey pines
I head such wonderful experience and especially with Mary Jane who's service was the best service I had in entire San Diego. Mary is committed to her work with excellent customer service in food service. She is the best and you are very lucky to have her in your team. Thank you Mary and all the best in your work!!!

Fun in the sun
Our stay here this time was good. The staff was awesome from check in, maintenance and especially the breakfast servers. Amanda our server made our mornings. She showed up with a smile daily and was very patient with me when I got upset about having to have a paper breakfast ticket on me. I don't like to carry things to breakfast, room keys etc..I would love it if you all could include a digital breakfast pass along with the digital room keys. That would cut down paper use and the confusion of having to remember your antiquated paper tickets. We will be back to San Diego to take in another Padres game, delicious food, golf, kayaking and beach fun in the sun. When we do return we will surely be staying here at the Hilton. We hope to see Amanda again and have digital breakfast tickets be a thing when we do. Thank you to the staff for assisting with making our stay enjoyable.

Awesome Stay!
Thank you Hilton for another awesome stay! Everyone we came across from the front desk, to the concierge to the restaurant and bar team members were absolutely fantastic. Such a friendly and helpful team that made our stay perfect!
