Nov 30, 2025Best hotel in Hilton Hawaiian Village
From the very first moment we walked in, my wife and I felt truly welcomed, thanks to Lawrence at the front desk. He was friendly, warm, helpful; everything anyone could hope for when arriving for a vacation. We stayed 8 days and couldn’t be more grateful that he was the first person we met. Every time we had a question or needed assistance, Lawrence was there with a big smile, ready to help, 100 out of 100 for Lawrence! The hotel itself was immaculate. We visited other properties, but the Hilton Grand Islander had the best atmosphere and lounge, a perfect place to relax while waiting for check-in or even after check-out before heading to the airport, which was our case. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel, especially if you’re lucky enough to be assisted by Lawrence!

Worst experience ever at any Hilton properties. We’ve owned Hilton for 13 years and this is my far the most horrible experience we’ve had. We had to switch rooms midweek. Our contract was for an up graded room that we had purchased. They moved us to the 29th floor to a small handicapped room for 5 adults. The lies and stories about why were hard to believe. The management was horrible. I can’t recommend the Grand Islander to anyone.

Outstanding resort
The Grand Islander tower is relatively new and is part of the Hilton Vacation Village complex. Because you are in the complex you can use any of the pools and amenities in the complex. The complex is next to the beach. The grounds are immaculate and the resort is well maintained and extremely clean. The resort is within walking distance to Ala Moana mall and Waikiki Beach. I only mention Waikiki Beach because of the restaurants. The beach in front of the hotel complex is much nicer. The suite is beautiful. The bathroom has a full walk in shower and separate bath tub. The kitchen has lovely appliances and has everything you need. The furniture and light fittings are modern and beautiful. The air conditioning worked very well. Staff were amazing. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Amazing vacation!
This resort was amazing. Anything and everything that you might think you would want on a vacation was there. There was really no reason to leave the resort. However, there was information and ticketing for all types of excursions. I would highly recommend this resort.

Great location, beautiful room.
Staff was all amazing. Room seemed to have been recently remodeled, and was exceptional. Nice view of of the pools and lagoon.
