Rude staff and clean rooms, washing machine isn't a benefit
I stayed here as part of a timeshare presentation, so the cost was highly subsidized. Overall, my experience was mixed. The atmosphere felt more like a business hotel, though there was a Christmas tree in the lobby, which added a small festive touch. Check-in was confusing, and the staff member assisting me seemed to be having a bad day. I was told I would receive points 2k points for being diamond member, but I never did. I was also informed that room cleaning would cost $71 per day, which felt excessive. The room itself was immaculately clean. My son slept on the sofa bed, which was surprisingly more comfortable than the very firm mattress in the main bedroom. The hotel was extremely quiet—I never heard other guests or road noise. The location was acceptable but somewhat out of the way; however, a $10 Uber easily solved that. There were no true on-site restaurants, but the hotel is attached to a mall with plenty of dining options. The washing machines were a nightmare. The wash/dry cycle took over four hours, and the clothes were still not dry. Everything came out with an off sour odor, and I had to rewash everything when I got home. I am in Vegas, so didn't use the kitchen, except for the huge fridge. Overall, I would likely skip this hotel in the future unless staying at a discounted rate. There a much better options in this price range. Without the fridge, this review would have been a 3/5. Average to Good.

Not Worth the Timeshare Deal
I stayed here with my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday as part of the $299 timeshare promotion that requires attending a presentation. I wouldn’t recommend it. We were placed in a very small studio (8th floor) with a view of the parking garage, which felt disappointing—especially since you’d expect a nicer room or view to encourage interest in a timeshare. The bed was uncomfortably firm, and several of the electrical outlets in the room didn’t work. Overall, it didn’t feel like a good value or a positive introduction to the property.

A disappoinment that communication would have ameliorated
We have previously stayed at Elara and brought others with us this time hoping to show them how great Elara is. Instead, although assured we could get in a little early, we waited for our rooms 5305 and 5303 until almost 5:30. We were told there were problems with the blinds and the projector so we had to wait. When finally allowed in, neither had been fixed. It took 3 visits to fix the projector and 4 visits for the blind. Communication about the problem was one-way only - us calling repeatedly for a repair. Nothing from them as to why this was happening. Three other minor observations: the primary bathroom has 2 sinks as do most fine hotels. Unlike other hotels, however, there is an electrical outlet on one side only. The studio bedroom has only a 4 cup coffeemaker but the coffee packets are 12 cups, making the coffee undrinkable. Also in the studio bedroom, there is no towel rack, no where to hang towels except on the shower. We would have preferred to communicate directly with Elara but could find no way to do so.

Fantastic Hotel great location.
Absolutely loved the hotel. FYI plenty of Mirrors LOL. Seriously Stop. The hotel is amazing. Just avoid the sales presentation rude and nasty. No thank you is NO. Otherwise enjoy the property. Exit to the mall next to Planet Hollywood. I use Insta Cart had food snacks drinks delivered the hotel. Cheaper and save the expenses for dinner at a restaurant.
