Charged expenses for deposit up front
Claimed all expenses for deposit, so no refund of deposit. I don't recommend anyone to stay at his location. First time staying and will be the last time. Good place but got scammed up front. No fee disclosure.
Great beach bar!
We came to this beach for the day on our cruise stop. We got beds for the day & had a few drinks & food at Tommy’s tiki bar. The lad & lass behind the bar were polite & friendly. Food was really nice then before we left to go back to the ship we had an ice cream which was lovely & the lady behind the counter was so friendly.
Great amenities and staff
The amenities and staff are WONDERFUL! The management and staff provide excellent hospitality. Kudos to staff members: Lena (concierge), Sam (bartender), Miguel ( food and beverage), Courtney W. and Leah (recreation). We are repeat guests and selected this property for a birthday milestone celebration. Another overall excellent experience!
Wouldn’t stay again
I always seek out Hilton properties, and I was excited to finally be staying at the Hilton on Clearwater Beach. I couldn’t wait to wake up and drink my coffee on the balcony while looking at the ocean! However, none of it went as planned. We were getting in really late. I contacted the hotel, and they said I should wait to check in, instead of on the app, and perhaps there would be an upgrade available. Unfortunately, when we eventually checked in, the night auditor seemed like we were an inconvenience. Not only did we have to wait, and didn’t get an upgrade (which they were 100% available), but she didn’t even honor our wishes to be on a higher floor. Our room was clean-ish, but it was noisy, not a good view, and on a low floor. Also, I had to call back and have my Diamond benefits applied to my account, as they erroneously charged us for our drinks even though we should’ve had a credit as part of our Diamond status. It was fine…but I was excited and the stay just wasn’t great. The view wasn’t great. The service wasn’t great. If I go to Clearwater again, I’ll save the money and stay at the Hampton Inn down the street.

And kudos to Lena and Charles (concierge) Leah (poolside) Jennifer (housekeeping) Sara and Armand (dining room) and Kalvin (cleaning staff). They all contributed to a safe, clean and enjoyable vacation. From day one, I was made to feel part of their family and for that I am grateful. Thanks, I’ll definitely be back.
