Dec 26, 2025Had a wonderful time at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa.
Great location. On the beach, close to boundless numbers of stores to shop in, restaurants to enjoy, scenic evening cruises etc... The staff at the Hilton were very friendly and helpful! Jason the pool bar bartender made some delicious cocktails. The wait staff at the pool was very attentive and food was delivered in a timely manner.

What was supposed to be a relaxing family vacation was not. Be careful of unexpected fees. Resort fees only include internet and water, mandatory valet park car additional fee. I was ok with this but when we were told it's additional for chairs on the beach and "told" where we had to sit depending on what type of chair we wanted to rent (it's a public beach). Again, didn't say anything until.... my husband and step son went to use the hotel men's room by the beach, and upon opening the door cockroaches went scurrying (about 20). When I approached the manager with everything, especially the cockroaches i was told "thanks for letting us know", that's it... Not even an apology. Disgraceful! Won't go back.

Great! Josie makes a heck of a cocktail! Had an espresso martini and then a mimosa. My wife had an espresso martini and then a mimosa with grapefruit juice. It was fun.
