The hotel is nice from the outside, even the entrance, but the room is extremely small for 4 people... then, but it's not the hotel's fault... the surrounding area is dirty... I don't think I'll go back again.

My 80 years old mother had a wonderful stay at Hilton Checkers LA last October 2025. Our stay was excellent. From the valet person to the front desk people are very professional and accommodating. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and their General Manager was amazing. She gave to us her full attention to all our needs and she made an extra mile to make my 80 years old mother enjoy the view from the hotel. The service is exceptional. I will highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The staff are the main problem
I would avoid. The hotel hard product is fine, reasonable downtown location and the rooms are standard Hilton quality. However my issue is with the staff. Ranging from indifferent to rude. This occurred both on check in and check out. The thing that annoyed me the most is they refused to store my bag until 3pm after checkout. I’ve literally never had a hotel anywhere in the world refuse this, least of all an “upmarket” Hilton in the US. They complained about storage spaxe but I only had a carry on bag. I reminded them I was a diamond member and was told “those perks are subject to availability”. I replied saying luggage storage is not a perk.

Great bar experience
We sat at the bar and watched the Dodgers vs. Phillies game. Brenda was taking great care of us and made us feel at home. We also had great discussions with her, supporting the Dodger while we were supporting the Phillies 😅 Many thanks for such a great evening!

Great location in downtown LA. I live locally but stayed downtown for 2 concerts. Staff is excellent-especially Theresa!
Great building, rooftop bar and clean rooms. Downtown has its challenges but this hotel is in a great spot for events. Great restaurant across the street - water grill
