Not Worth the money
The service here is extremely disappointing. We were unable to get into our room until 6:00 PM, despite a 3:00 PM check-in time. All day we were repeatedly told “20 more minutes,” starting around 11:00 AM, with no real explanation or accountability. After hours of waiting, it felt dismissive and unacceptable. As Enclave members and repeat guests, our reservations are consistently not honored in the capacity we book. Our family is frequently split up at dinner despite booking appropriately, which defeats the purpose of Enclave services. The Enclave rooftop pool was also poorly maintained. Several umbrellas were broken, and there were never any available seats, making it unusable. On top of that, the guests in the room above us were extremely loud—children screaming on the balcony until after 1:00 AM and alarms blaring early in the morning. This was reported, yet no meaningful action was taken, resulting in multiple sleepless nights. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation or attentive staff who genuinely care about your experience, I would not recommend staying here

A Very disappointing Xmas family vacation
We stayed here for 5 days as a family of six, two rooms. $750 per night per room. Very disappointed by the experience. We have been to cancun resorts many times over the past 15 years. This place is at best an average also-run among mid tier resorts. If I paid $300-$400, I won't complaint. For $750, stay away. The Bad: 1.Buffet option was among the worst we have seen. 2. Specialty restaurants had good ones, like Italian and Asian. But the resort enforced a first come first serve policy during the December holidays and intentionally kept people waiting for very long time, forcing people to eat at buffet. We waited in line at 5:30pm to get into the specialty restaurants. Finished our dinner watching half of the tables around us staying empty while many people waiting outside. Just horrible. They seemed to want to save money by reducing capacity at restaurants. This happened again and again. 3. Nightly entertainment was laughable. Absolutely the worst we have seen. Usually 8 dancers with one singer for a one hour show. Most resorts would mix things up. One bad show with one quality show. This one would run a streak of poor quality shows. Pretty amazing in cancun. It feels like they are just trying to save money like crazy. But the room rate was high and occupancy was high. Very strange business practice. I have not seen a business behaving like this unless it is under extreme financial stress. 4. Xmas eve dinner: this was a total debacle. They changed the rules for Xmas eve. Instead of first come first serve, you had to make reservations. However, they did not advertise this change on their resort guide website. Did not show prominent signs in public areas, like lobby and pools. Many families didn't know this until they got in line as normal trying to get in at restaurants. Very upsetting for such an important exams dinner. Just when I think they could not make it worse, we found out that their Xmas menu was much smaller than the normal menu, without any special dishes added. We tried both Mexican (our only option without reservation) and Asian restaurants (very late) that night. Walked away disappointed. The next night, we went to the Asian restaurant again since their normal menu looked way better. We were right. Why would this management do this to their guests? Ruining their Xmas dinner on both fronts! 5. There were some minor things that put them solidly into the average or below average category. A very small Xmas tree in the entire resort. A single Cafe with very limited food options and ice cream options. A very small activity room for kids, teens and families. Room service and front desk didn't speak much English, hard to communicate what you want. The good: Swimming pool was good. Drinks were good. They were not holding back with alcohol for sure. Beach volleyball was our favorite. Without it, our stay would be entirely ruined. But it was self organized among guests. Nothing to do with the resort. Staff generally tried to help despite some poor English. So I don't think it was a staff problem. The management of this resort was really problematic. I could not believe how many good reviews it got. Maybe it was under some kind of financial distreess recently. It was doing all these things to save cost, which ruined our holiday. It is time to wake up if you want to stay in business. Yes, I am talking to you, Hilton Cancun management team.

Val for Aquafit
Val was our AquaFit instructor and he was the kindest, most supportive, and energetic throughout the entire lesson. He took into consideration our previous injuries and provided modified instructions and made the lesson so much fun! His encouragement and passion for fitness radiated through our group. Highly recommend taking a lesson with him!

Family Vacation for Four
We traveled with our family of four (7yr old boy and 4yr old girl) for a short vacation break before the Christmas holiday and had a blast. For some context, we are fairly easy going travelers and manage our expectations ahead of time. It was also our first all inclusive resort with kids (we’ve done a few other all inclusive resorts across Mexico before kids). The resort was great for families which was part of our main criteria. The social lounge with foosball and ping pong were a nice break from the pools, the kid pool/ water slide area was a lot of fun for our kids, and the kids club was also a great amenity to keep the kids entertained. All of it was super accessible and well maintained and organized. Our 4yr daughter loved the nightly entertainment and the ability to get out on the dance floor and jive to the music for the different themed nights. The service, food, and room quality was similar to what you’d expect for non super luxury resorts. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Easy to book other day trips — we did a day trip to Isla Mujeres which was a nice boat ride. Would recommend to other families looking for a good quality resort.
