The good, the bad and the in-between
I'll start from the entry. The entrance is flanked by an uphill, then downhill driveway, no ramp, and very difficult to navigate if you have luggage, a baby in a stroller or anyone needing a wheelchair or walker. Why no handicapped ramp? Service was slower than usual, difficult to access from room. If you needed something, like toilet paper or teabags, just easier to ask at desk. The coffee house was not open during the week, necessitating Starbucks daily. Food was expensive, especially the $15 gelato bar that was served from the locked freezer in the dining room! Also, beachside food and drink service was only offered on the weekends. The rooms should be updated, carpets were stained and the fridge cabinet door did not stay closed. Please get some good mattresses and comforters. My king size mattress was set upon a thin cardboard on the bedspring! Bathroom and handicap accessible shower was fine. The cool '50's prints of beachgoers was a nice touch. Here's the good stuff, the beach and pool staff were really nice, as was waitstaff in the dining room. Shout out to LaRonn and Jonathan, in charge of the beach lounges. Also, the poolside bar was cool, as was bartender Antuan who made a mean mango rita. The salads were yummy, Caesar and one with strawberries, goat cheese and greens. Rented a bicycle, but the way to change gears was not explained to me. Don't know how old they are but new ones are probably needed. Direct access to boardwalk and beach was a major plus, as was night swimming with music and a brightly lit pool.

Great place to stay for a business trip
Nice place to stay when in town for business. About 2 blocks from the beach and a restaurant in the lobby that has amazing Italian. I was upgraded to a room with a balcony. The staff were great and the hotel was very beautifully decorated. The staff were wonderful. Zero complaints. I would stay here again and would recommend to others.

Horrible Stay
The service is terrible. Can't get front desk on the phone. Mold and mildew in the shower. No service for our room when requested every other day. Asked for clean towels for everyday had to go ask at the front desk on our 3rd day and still didn't get any. Had to find room service to get some while they were cleaning other rooms. Breakfast was horrible and too expensive. OMG they have no place for you to park your vehicle yourself. You have no choice but to valet park unless you walk 3 to 4 blocks. Have to pay 49.00 a day to park.

Hilton Quality I Expect
We had a great time at Hilton Cabana. Room was freshly renovated and clean. The food was also good quality contrary to some people's reviews. Staff was professional and helpful with all our requests. The beach is nice with chairs/towels included and attendants ready to bring you fresh drinks or food on the beach. I definitely would recommend.

The worst!
The only nice thing i can say about this hotel,is that the servers were very friendly and helpful. First of all Yanira at the front desk was rude and showed no interest in helping me and my husband. We stayed here for three days and our room was never cleaned. Apparently you need to give 24 hours notice for room cleaning! My trash wasn’t taken out. We were given two paper coffee cups for three days. The towels were thin and scratchy. There was a mousetrap behind the toilet. The shower had lots of mould. The terrace was filthy, as was the lobby. The food was terrible. I’ve stayed at better Best Westerns. I have a broken ankle and requested extra pillows and a shower chair. They never arrived. Shame on Hilton! Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else!
