Terrible, Terrible Advertisement For The Hilton Brand
Currently staying here during a family holiday to Disneyland with my fiancee our 6 year old son… I have stayed in many Hiltons all around the world, and thus far can absolutely, categorically, state that this is probably the worst and certainly the least welcoming by an absolute mile! Firstly, rather than a room upgrade for my gold membership, it would appear we were given a downgrade! From a King Room, down to a Twin Queen (but on high floor with a pool view, which apparently is a good thing, although not sure why when all it means is waiting ages for the lifts! All I asked was whether I could have a disney view room, but apparently that wasn’t available so we got downgraded instead. The room is tired, very, very, tired, as are most of the hallways! Now, onto the rest of the being made to feel welcome! Well! $24 to park a car in the hotel car park, daily! At a hotel which you are already paying to stay at for 7 nights! Well I could just about get my head around that if it wasn’t for the other ridiculous profiteering/advantage taking which i’ll come to below! I mean lets be honest, a $30 parking charge for the week would seem somewhat fairer wouldn’t it! Now, lets talk about the $15 per day food & beverage credit? Of which despite accepting a booking for 3 people they only offer to two of us! Thats the starting point! Then there is the fact most normal people are going to use it for breakfast, the hotel knows that! Now I was expecting the usual Hilton Buffet Breakfast, jeez there is even still the cabinets and toaster in the restaurant where clearly the buffet has previously been available! I was even expecting it to perhaps cost $25, or even $30 each, because of where we are and the proximity to disneyland I could have lived with that, especially after applying the f&b credit against it, well for two of us anyway! But no, it would appear the hotel has decided to try and totally take advantage of people and offer a breakfast menu where all hot food is well over $20, closer to $30 and lets say you order something like scrambled eggs with bacon, you still have to order toast separately at a further $5.50. Tea and Coffee is also chargeable and they also want $6, or $8 for cereal! Plus, get this… If you fancy a couple of glasses of fruit juice with your breakfast, as most of us do at breakfast time, them that will set you back even further, $6 in fact, PER GLASS! What an absolute joke! At least offer complimentary cereals, pastries, toast, juices and warm beverages if you are going to charge SO much for the freshly prepared hot food! Also, the kids breakfast menu! $17.50, yes thats right, $17.50 for a waffle! A poxy waffle, which most hotels dosh out free of charge left right and centre as part of the buffet breakfast! And also the kids have to pay vast fortunes for juice, milk etc as well! So this morning my son had plain water with his breakfast, plus my fiancee and I utilised the F&B credit at Starbucks which is built in. We have only been here just over 24 hours, but I have genuinely never felt SO unvalued, i’d potentially even go as far as to say taken advantage of as a guest at any hilton property previously! When considering all of the above its worth considering i’m a gold member, one of hiltons supposed most valued customers therefore, imagine what people that are not gold members must feel about things! Not expecting any of this to improve as the week goes on, but at least now I am prepared for the hotels attempt to rip me off at every, single, tiny opportunity they get and also not even try to stick to the values of what has always previously made Hilton my brand of choice in the past!

Disappointed
One star for being in close proximity to Disney. Other than that, comforter had a dirty yellow stain on it, super busy hotel especially on the weekend, pool wasn’t open due to construction. On my last morning there I found a bed bug crawling on the comforter inches from my sleeping toddler and luckily killed it in time before it got away. Found three bites when I left the hotel I’m hoping I didn’t bring any bugs with me back home while I’m 5 months pregnant. I would not return here for my next trip or recommend it.

Turned away my elderly in-laws who "failed to complete" the online reservation process. Plllease. 🙄🤨
Had a room booked (overpriced), and we were turned away, claiming our reservation failed to submit online. Extremely disappointing and a huge waste of time for the in-laws, who were forced to drive several hours to our rental and sleep in the tiny spare bedroom while we found them new accommodations. I expected better.

VERY AVERAGE HOTEL... not worth the price. Stay at the Marriott of other hotels close to cener.
The hotel pool area was under construction when I arrived. We paid a premium price since there was a conference - we did get a group rate - still higher than standard. So I told the staff that it would have been nice to know before we arrived. Their response was... you already have a discount on your room. If you want to use a pool... walk across the street and use the Marriott Pool. To which I responded. I could have stayed at the Marriott cheaper than the Hilton... they were giving a discount too.... and had a working pool. I got no further response. Overall. The staff is indifferent.

Never again...
My wife and I stayed here due to its proximity to the park. I would not stay here again. The cons... - The hotel lobby is dark and dingy (esp the carpeting). You can see the clean edges in the carpeting along some of the walls in the lobby area. - Not nearly enough elevators for the Convention Center traffic this place sees not to mention the weekend stuff they seem to host. - The pool area looked terrible; dirty and tired. (We could see it very clearly from our room) - The hallways have a weird slant to them which extends in to the rooms - The self parking garage is laid out very strangely and its space is not being used properly. It looks as though some of the parking spaces were 30 to 40 ft long at one time (?). - The hallway to our room (4th floor) was extremely dark and hard only 2 pieces of art work on the walls for more than 100 ft of hallway. - They seem to be using different kinds of lights in the hallways making it seem as though doors are painted different colors. - Did I mention that it was very dark in the hallways??? The pros... - The staff was friendly and helpful - The distance to the Disney parks worked well for us. - The room was clean albeit tired looking. Was it worth the price? We stayed here 5 nights but I wouldn't stay here again.
