  Imagine Being Left on Read by Your Butler at a Luxury Resort

  Imagine paying for a luxury experience and having your vacation disrupted by a butler who thinks they’re the main character. Wives and girlfriends, beware. If you are assigned Frida as your butler, I strongly recommend requesting someone else. In my experience, she catered more to the male demographic while ignoring me. As a solo female traveler, I felt dismissed and had to follow up multiple times just to get simple requests handled. This is my first time staying in the Riviera area, and I’ve stayed at multiple resorts throughout Cancun, Tulum, and Playa del Carmen. First and foremost, the resort itself is beautiful, peaceful, and secluded. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation away from heavy traffic and crowds. Unfortunately, my experience with Frida did not match the level of service expected at a luxury resort. I asked for basic things like dinner reservations and was left on read multiple times. Imagine being left on read by your butler at a luxury resort. I was also told to wait about 20 minutes for her upon arrival, but I ended up waiting closer to 45 minutes to an hour. She never properly collected my WhatsApp information, which made communication even more difficult. I upgraded to the Serenity package to celebrate my 40th birthday, so I expected attentive service. After two days of poor service, I requested a new butler, and the difference was immediate. My experience improved significantly once I was reassigned. The resort itself is absolutely amazing, and I would still recommend staying here. However, if you are assigned Frida, I would recommend requesting someone else immediately to avoid unnecessary frustration and to fully enjoy your luxury experience.

  Didn’t want to leave. AWESOME.

  I loved everything. Our room, the housekeeping, our butler Frida and every server including the concierge. We had a couple of meals we didn’t like but Olios, Asian Fusion, Vistas and the buffet were fabulous. We didn’t like Tahani. Way too loud for us. Hibachi was the best!! There was something for everyone at the three pools.

  First timers

  This was our fist time visiting Haven so we didn’t know what to expect. It went above and beyond our expectations. The resort is beautiful, the food was amazing, the rooms were perfect and we were able to see the sunrise without leaving our bed! We booked the Serenity option and so glad we did. The service was top notch! These dinner and entertainment show at Tahani was the highlight of our trip! These are the people that made our stay super enjoyable. Cutberto at the coffee shop made my mocha perfect every time! Arturto, Sandra, and Brenda, at the buffet were amazing. Always making sure we were comfortable. Omar and Juel at the grill during the lunch buffet always made sure our tacos were made to perfection! Russel and Luis at Satsu, Rudolfo at Vistas, Alex and Luis at Agua Bendita, Jorge at Vora Mar, and Alejandro at the Serenity Lounge Bar always gave us great service and our drinks were never empty! Jose, Carlos, and Saul were awesome at the pool and would help us find a place to lay out in the sun even when we thought we were out of luck! They even arranged for us to have a fun personalized cabana with our names in sand art. It meant a lot that they took the time to do that. Carlos and Alma were super cool and would bring us new drinks to try and they were a hit each time. Humberto was the butler assigned to us and he was always answering any questions we had or requests we made. We loved it so much we have already booked our Fall 2026 trip back to Haven!

  Four nights Stay

  My husband and I recently came back from our vaction at Havens riviera Cancún. Everything was great the place was amazing. But what made our stay even better is Our pool waiter Diana and Martin at Mistral. They are both excellent. They went far and beyond to make our days around the pool amazing. They are fantastic, very welcoming, super nice and helpful. They pay attention to their client needs, they memorize what your preferences anre and they do their best to accommodate your needs . Always smiling and with a great attitude. We look forward to go back for our next vacation.

  Haven Wedding

  My wife and I decided that we wanted to have our wedding in Cancun on a short timeline. We had three months to plan and Haven made it happen. Our wedding coordinator, Andrea Cordova, was amazing. She made every step of the planning easy and the big day was fantastic. We loved the resort and our family and guests did as well! We will be back!
