My name is Michael Alvarez and I've been going to the Hard Rock Riviera Maya for years and my experience there has been phenomenal, I just wanted to mention some people that are part of the staff that make my vacation so special and enjoyable every year Chef Cynthia at restaurant Faro and our waitress Gabby were fantastic also Chef Eliezer Santiago at Hacienda prepared a wonderful meal for us also I have to mention manager Maria who manages Faro and has managed many of the restaurants over the years has not only made our stay extra special but has become a special friend of the family. Jackie and Miguel our waiters at Wai just went above and beyond whenever we ate there. Also our bartender Mukul at the heaven bar always put a smile on our face with his special drink. And last but not the least was our waiter at Chow, Tacuba. Thankyou to all that made our vacation extra special.🙏

Great experience in Hard Rock Riviera Maya
We had a great experience in Hard Rock Riviera Maya. They made our family trip a great experience! They had a very nice detail at the pool! Special thanks to William, Irving Moreno, Salgado and Yukari.

Dec 13, 2025The worst vacation of my life
Our experience at this hotel was incredibly disappointing. To start, the resort credits are a lie; they don't tell you that you actually have to pay to use them, despite this being a so-called 'all-inclusive.' On top of that, the rooms were in terrible condition. We spent a lot of money traveling with our baby, only to be told we couldn't enter the kids' areas, supposedly due to age restrictions. Worse yet, a staff member named Arianed, who claimed to be the manager of that area, harassed us. She demanded our personal information and threatened to call the police to have us removed if we didn't leave. She discriminated against us because of our skin color and denied us entry. We requested a refund for our vacation but were refused. Terrible experience

The best of everything!
We traveled to Hard Rock Riviera Maya for the Cancun Challenge basketball tournament! We traveled with our grown children and stayed in the adult only side Heaven. The entire experience was excellent! The hotel is amazing for rock fans, the staff was great, the food was delicious! So many great choices for wonderful meals! Pool, beach and drinks were the best! We had so much fun and will go back soon!!
- Advisory- The hotel has an Adults Only Concept. The hotel will not allow any children under 18. - The hotel is located on the ocean but it is on a lagoon style beach. There is a beach inlet located in front of the hotel. - Spa treatments are not included in the vacation price. Fees apply.
