Feb 10, 2026For a relaxing time, make it Hana Maui time
The Hana Maui was a sleeper hit during my weeklong trip to the island. Staying there helped me feel fully relaxed, thanks to the quiet, spacious, tranquil setting. We booked an oceanside room and left the curtains open to wake up with the sunrise, true serenity. My intention was to explore more of Hana but it felt so good staying on the property, we only left to visit the food trucks nearby. Guess we'll have to return and spend more time there!

Very relaxing resort
This place is fantastic and very relaxing. I did not see or hear any kids and that is always nice when you are on vacation. The rooms are great and the views are outstanding. The pool was very nice and the service at the pool was excellent. The red sand beach is a short hike away and was the coolest beach!

Relaxing Paradise
We loved our stay at the Hana Maui Resort! This was such a peaceful and relaxing getaway for our 20th anniversary. The staff were all amazing with excellent customer service skills. The views from our bungalow were spectacular, and we saw the most beautiful sunrises each morning we were there. We rented a Jeep from the resort for a day to do some exploring, and we were so thankful we did that. We visited the Black Sand Beach, Botanical Garden, and saw a waterfall. We actually skipped driving the full Road to Hana, and opted to fly to and from OGG to the Hana Airport through Mokulele Airlines. We're so glad we did this instead. We got to see a lot of the coast line from the airplane, and both trips, we were the only ones on the plane. This resort is a must stay if you are going to Maui!

JUST SO SERENE! You will love being away from the hustle and bustle.
This is a very unique hotel in the middle of nowhere. (Well it feels this way.) The views of the cliffs, ocean, whales, sunrise and rainbows are just amazing. You feel as if you are the only people around. It is so quite and beautiful! Walking on the grass barefooted is so relaxing and healing for your sole. The staff is so sweet and caring from beginning to end! YOU WILL SO ENJOY THIS RESORT!

Resort needs a total renovation. Price of room is ridiculously high compared to the quality of the resort but there are no real options if you decide to stay in Hana for the night. Better to avoid and drive back during the same day.
