Good location if you don’t want to be in thick of it on Waikiki Beach. Easy to get to major highways for exploring the rest of Oahu. Close enough to the airport and to the historical Pearl Harbor sites. Easy parking and convenient restaurants and a grocery store in the shopping center next door. Breakfast is standard American hotel buffet which is average. The costly laundry facility was a surprise especially when we got to other islands and could wash clothes for much less.

A decent hotel at a reasonable price.
If you want to avoid the hefty cost and crowding of Honolulu hotels around the holidays, this place is a good choice. It's part of a Macy's-anchored outdoor mall in Kapolei, about a 20 minute drive from Honolulu airport. No problems parking your car, although there are vehicle theft warning signs in the parking lot. No resort fee and you get a passable hot breakfast in the morning. I knocked off one star because 1) the rooms could be cleaner (I found some black hairs in the shower, and housekeeping repeatedly misses them despite my hefty tips), and 2) housekeeping visits every two days to save the hotel money. There is other evidence of penny-pinching in this place - no pads/pens to write, no glasses (only paper cups), and the laundry room is too small and costs $10 to wash & dry. Even worse, you have to invest time to deposit that amount of money in quarters, which is downright silly (just let me feed the machines $10 bills, for heaven's sake!).

We stayed one night. The room was clean, quiet, and everything worked in the room. The front desk people were nice. Breakfast in the morning was standard Hampton fair, which is excellent. You won't go wrong staying here.

Nice Place
A real nice hotel outside of the big city. Lots of things around it and yet it is quiet. It is clean and real nice. The morning meal was not the best but the rest of it was real nice. Would stay again for sure.

Great stay and would stay again!
The room was clean and comfortable! The location was interesting as this is the first time I've stayed at a hotel thats so close to mall. The mall has a nice selection if shops and food options, and we didn't have to go far. The staff was so welcoming and professional. The complimentary breakfast was amazing and the biggest selection I've seen thus far compared to other hotels I've stayed at. I recommend this hotel, and would definitely stay here again.
